Michael Michalsky – Star Designer

Michael Michalsky, one of the great fashion designers from Germany, style icon and jury member of Germany’s next Topmodel since the 11th season. You can find out everything about Michael Michalsky here with us. After graduating from high school in 1987, which he did near his hometown, he studied at the London College of Fashion. After his diploma he started his career at Levi Strauss & Co. in Germany. When he joined Adidas as head designer in 1995, it wasn’t long before he became Global Creative Director of the giant sports company in 2000, responsible for the design of all Adidas products. He started collaborations and product lines with famous designers or musicians, like Stella McCartney and Missy Elliott, and re-releasing old pieces with a retro look. In 2005, the Korean luxury label hired him as creative director to refresh the struggling fashion brand MCM. In 2006 he left Adidas for good and founded his own fashion and lifestyle company in Berlin. Since then, he has not only launched fashion, but also furniture, lifestyle merchandise and is involved with numerous charities and organizations. Since 2016, he has sat alongside Heidi Klum and Thomas Hayo as a jury member, judging the newcomers from the modeling world. Here you can find Team White.
