Tamara Hitz Interview – Tamara Hitz is a successful model, actress and active on social media since her participation in the 15th season of “Germany’s Next Topmodel”. Tamara talked to us about her career after GNTM, her time on the model casting show and her big dream of becoming an actress. Tamara Hitz: GNTM, Model & Actress

Tamara Hitz is a young model and an aspiring actress from Vienna. Tamara became known through her participation in “Germany’s Next Topmodel”, where she took 6th place. Since then, she has managed to build a successful career as a model and has already been the face for a campaign of the shoe brand Buffalo, among others. Tamara is currently working diligently on her acting career and is also an absolute star on social media.

FIV: Hello Tamara, nice that the interview worked out. You have already experienced a lot in your life. You participated in GNTM in 2020. Since then you are a successful model and active on social media. How has your life changed since you took part in GNTM?

Tamara: In fact, Corona took away a lot of opportunities for me, but I was still able to experience cool things, take off with social media, and get one step closer to my dream.

Tamara has been in the public eye for a while, but she can’t quite get used to it yet:

Tamara: I still find it funny to be recognized on the street, haha.

Insider tips for GNTM contestants

FIV: The new season of GNTM starts soon. Are you sure you have a few tips in store for the aspiring candidates?

Tamara: My tip is to take it easy and more importantly, don’t be too hard on yourself. When I was still filming, I thought everyone was going to hate me and that I was full of shit…turns out only one of those things is true haha.

Tamara’s biggest dream: to become an actor!

FIV: Was modeling always your career aspiration or did you want to do something else?

Tamara: I actually wanted to be an actress from an early age and model at the same time. That’s how I still see my future today, preferably in L.A.

FIV: On social media, you share impressions of wonderful trips to great vacation destinations like Los Angeles and Croatia with your followers. What has been your best trip so far and which experience do you still remember fondly?

Tamara: I had many beautiful destinations but nothing comes close to Los Angeles! One of my favorite memories actually happened the day after I was kicked out of GNTM. I went hiking with a few people from the team and was able to discover L.A. from above.

That’s how bad the pressure on social media is for young models!

FIV: You are in the public eye and are active on social media as a social media personality. How great is the pressure in the business to always be “perfect”? What is the best way to deal with it?

Tamara: Social media can be such a cool platform to show off and get creative. But many people don’t know how hard it is to stand up to the pressure of always looking beautiful or always having an interesting life. Personally, I often struggle with doubting myself as well. I think the best way to deal with it comes with time!

FIV: Finally, a short look into the future, we are curious what you have planned in the near future: Do you have big plans like a move or something similar or is there something special coming up? Give us a little teaser of what your fans and followers can look forward to in the near future!

Tamara: First of all, I want to go back to Vienna, because it is much more practical for me and to be closer to my family. But if the Corona situation improves, nothing will keep me from a long stay in America. Acting, here I come!
