Marco Castelli Collection: His Passion Became A Reality

Interview with Marco Castelli – Model. Influencer. Designer. Marco can do it all. Today he tells us about the difficulties he experienced while making his professional career in the fashion industry, why he decided to start his fashion brand and some tips to improve your social media channels.

Marco Castelli is a young entrepreneur who has his own fashion collection called Marco Castelli Collection. He started out in this world modelling, but as he became more influential on social media he decided to switch to the business side of fashion. He is an amazing human being with a very sweet soul, you must meet Marco!

Passion Comes First Of All

FIV: More than 700k followers on Instagram, what came before, fame or modelling?

Marco: Passion comes first, after 4 years in the fashion industry during my travels in Los Angeles, Miami and New York I started using social media to share memories and my lifestyle related to my hobbies and work. 

FIV: And how to start gaining followers?

Marco: Family, friends and people started to follow my life adventure, over time my social media became very active and brands in the US asked me to tag them and go from just walking in a fashion show or doing photo shoots as a fashion model to promote my clients on my social media.  

Growing Up: An Important Step

FIV: How do you combine your work with your private life?

Marco: To be honest with you, at the beginning it was not easy to travel all over the world. There were 2 aspects: meeting very interesting people, discovering new places, new cultures, attending special events, discovering art and learning more about life. The other aspect was to always travel alone, so never at home, many doors close and fail as well as being far away from family. 

FIV: It must have been hard for you, did you make it through?

Marco: Today I can tell you that all this was positive for me, because I grew up, I can easily be in any situation, because I learned to be in the comfort zone and out of my comfort zone. 

FIV: You have a family, does your family support you in your work?

Marco: Yes, I have a family: my amazing parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, grandparents and 10 nephews. And yes, we always support each other. I am a very lucky person to have them.

FIV: Not content with social media and modelling, you have now also decided to launch your own fashion collection, what do you expect from this new project? 

Marco:  My capsule collection came about because I loved to dress tailored and with different tailors. Then it became a collection because some nice people were asking a lot about my jackets and coats and wanted to buy, so my good friend Tommaso Madè told me that I should start. So 6 years ago we started with this new adventure and last year I launched my new collection of leather trainers, where I was teaming up with Alessandro Garaventa, Livio Pirotti, they are also very good friends.
