Lena Gercke – The first Winner of GNTM

Lena Gercke was born on 29 February 1988 in Marburg. At the age of 18 she took part in Heidi’s casting show GNTM, prevailed against her competitors and won the title. But this was not the first time that Lena was admired by the fashion world. It was discovered in 2004 during a casting for a fast food chain. Lena Gercke is one of the winners, with whom the career continued to run steeply upward afterwards.  Still, the first thing Lena did after her victory was her baccalaureate. She also worked in the biggest fashion metropolises for famous designers, such as Laurèl, as a model.  From 2009 to 2013 the pretty blonde proved herself for the first time as a presenter at “Austria’s next Topmodel”. In 2013 she was allowed to become a member of the jury for “Das Supertalent”. She was also allowed to present the magazine “red” on Prosieben. Lena Gercke had the pleasure to present many other shows, especially the music show The Voice of Germany.  The now 30 year old is also more than successful as a model. She is under contract with several model agencies, including Muse Models from New York, Elite Model Management from Milan and Select Models from London. She likes to be pictured in various magazines, such as the Gala or the Jolie.

Lena recently posted this picture on her Instagram account and wrote below that she now wants to post more of these pictures because she wants you to be more honest with yourself and stand by yourself. She’d be tired of photoshop and filters. All fans, who see it that way, asked her to use the Hashtag #therealme. Those who find this wrong and don’t want to see something like this, encourage her self-confidently not to follow her anymore. Lately you’ve found few such images on your Instagram account. Has Lena given up positively influencing the world? No way. Lena has a job that always demands a “perfect” look from her. Whether it’s advertising a make-up or a moderation job, her look must always be top.

Lena’s Love Life

Lena Gercke’s first public love was Jay Khan, who was a member of the boy band US5. For three years, from 2006-2009, the two were a couple. In retrospect, ex-boyband member Vince Tomas claimed that the relationship was only staged. He even thought that Vince was actually gay.

A few years later they were known as the dream couple par excellence. Lena Gercke and football star Sami Khedira were a couple from 2011 to 2015. In between there has even been talk of a wedding. Lena had always done well as a player’s wife at Sami Khedira’s side. All the bigger was the shock for the fans when the two announced the separation.

A short time later Lena fell in love again. She had a new man at her side: Kilian-Müller-Wohlfahrt, the son of the team doctor of FC Bayern Munich and the German national football team. The two had a two-and-a-half-year relationship, in which they even moved in together. When the two announced the separation, Lena published: “A few weeks ago we separated in all friendship and with the greatest respect for each other. We ask for your understanding that further details will not be shared with the public.” So since May of this year, the pretty blonde is single again. That should please a lot of men.

Lena’s Sister: Yana Gercke

Lena has two sisters. One of them is her 4 years younger half sister Yana Gercke. The 26 year old has an Iranian mother and is also successful. She sings successfully in her band “Oh Alaska” and is currently studying medicine. She pursues her two huge dreams and is on her way to make her dreams come true. Lena is now even an aunt, because her sister has become the mother of a little son. Success is definitely in the family.
