Kris Jenner: House Tour Los Angeles
Kristen Mary Jenner – the mother of the famous Kardashian/Jenner daughters Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie has achieved fame and fortune herself through the reality TV series “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”. Now manager and TV star Kris Jenner gives us a glimpse into her luxurious home in Beverly Hills.
Hidden Hills: the Kardashian HotSpot
Like all Kardashians – except Kendall Jenner – Kris Jenner lives in “Hidden Hills”, a small town in Los Angeles. Stars such as Dianne Foster, Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, Kaley Cuoco and Jennifer Lopez live there. The city borders on a large nature reserve that invites you to go hiking, horseback riding or mountain biking. Hidden Hills is a very active community with many community festivals and events such as the city carnival, annual parades, a summer camp for children or the “snow days”.
The Villa of Kris Jenner
After Kris sold the location of the reality TV series “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”, she moved into her new house, but in the same city – Hidden Hills seems to have taken a liking to the Jenners and Kardashians. She bought the house in 2017 and finally moved in 2019 – after more than a year of renovation work. The house is located near the villa of her daughter Kim. With a living space of 873m² the new home of Kris has a lot to offer. The 5.200m² large property is generously planted and virtually a private park on the doorstep. The villa is mostly single-storey, but the bedrooms are on the second floor. With stone and wood facades and dark window frames, the house looks very modern and cosy. Kris has in her main residence besides 6 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms of course also her own pool, a spa, a fitness area, a cinema hall and an exclusive playroom for her grandchildren.
“I don’t enjoy going out as much as I used to. My job is so hectic and chaotic. I’m always running a million miles an hour. I wanted my home to feel like a sanctuary, perfectly calm and peaceful.” (Kris Jenner)

Interior Design Plan
As with Kendall Jenner, the interior designers Tommy and Kathleen Clements, as well as Waldo Fernandez, were responsible for furnishing the house. Just like her daughter, Kris is enthusiastic about their work. Like Kendall, Kris wanted to create an oasis of peace and quiet, and chose neutral, warm earthy and natural tones for the design and furnishings. Only works of art form color highlights; walls, ceilings and even furniture are deliberately simple. On the first floor, Kris chose the so-called “open-floor plan”: it was important to her to keep the individual rooms as open as possible in order to create many connections and a large, open and inviting living space.
“I love this house because it has a really open-floor plan. It makes me feel really zen and relaxed. (…) It is very calming and I keep using the word calm because I need that in my life.” (Kris Jenner)
Foyer and staircase
Kris Jenner loves the big entrance – her new foyer can almost be described as understatement. The large, minimalist entrance door made of glass opens into a large, plain modern entrance area. Following the open-floor principle, the living room, the dining room, the so-called Great Room and the kitchen connect directly to the foyer without any walls or doors. The stairs leading to the second floor of the house are hidden by a wall from the entrance area. Above the Great Room – which you look at frontally when entering the house – there is an open gallery on the second floor from which you can access all bedrooms and various bathrooms. Overall, the foyer is a spacious area with high ceilings that is flooded with light and offers direct access to all areas of the first floor
Great-Room
As on the entire first floor, a brown parquet floor has been laid in earth tones. On top of this is a large, light-colored carpet on which sofas and armchairs in white and light gray are placed. A large window front offers direct access to the garden and an unrestricted view of the pool, which is only a few meters away. Black window frames and light-colored curtains complete the light-dark concept of the room. The TV is set into the wall on a grey marble slab above the fireplace and is bordered by two large white bookcases. One of Kris’s personal favorites is the “Lalanne Sheep”, a decorative sheep that can also be used as a sitting area – but whoever actually does this will annoy Kris, because according to her own statement she doesn’t like guests sitting on her sheep at all.
Kitchen and dining room
The separate dining room is located opposite the living room near the entrance to the house, but connected to the kitchen there is another, smaller dining area. Like the Great Room, it is lined with a window front that lets in plenty of light and offers a wide view of the garden and pool. A large wooden table and 8 leather chairs invite you to eat and relax. The kitchen, which is open to both the dining area and the Great Room, is kept very minimalist. Everything is very geometric and reduced: The fronts of the kitchen furniture are dark grey, the handles are all uniform and silver. In front of the large gas hob is a large white-grey marble block that serves as a kitchen island. It offers a large additional work surface. It also has a small counter attached to it, in front of which four stools stand. The kitchen has been designed as an open and spacious room where you can be with many people and always communicate directly with each other.
“We’re in the kitchen all the time. We pretty much live here, it’s the heart of the house. Someone’s always cooking in here.” (Kris Jenner)
Living room
Just left of the entrance door is the living room of the villa. On the brown parquet floor there is also a large, light-colored carpet. On it stand two white, comfortable sofas as well as a low wooden coffee table and two light gray armchairs with quilted backrests. There is also a window front with black frames, but through these you can reach the green front garden. Lined with sofas and armchairs, the fireplace becomes the head of the room, which forms the creative highlight of the room through a dark green metallic painted indentation in the wall. Just like Kendall, Kris does not have a TV in the living room, this room is meant to be a place for relaxation and exchange.
Bedroom and closet
The master bedroom is located on the second floor and has direct access to the balcony. The room is large and, like the rest of the house, bright. Except for a large bed, a television and a simple chest of drawers, there is no furniture in this room. The closet is en suite and is – as expected – spectacular. It extends over two rooms: one room for clothes, one room for shoes, bags and accessories. Both rooms are white: furniture, walls, floors and ceilings, and they are very strongly lit – there is no window, yet it is daylight. The two rooms are connected by a small corridor, which is lined with mirrored cabinets. In the accessories room, for example, a total of ten white shelves are decorated with a number of fine individual pieces – from Louis Vuitton to Gucci and Judith Leiber. Kris’s walk-in closet is well filled, but not overloaded and looks more like an exclusive and diverse luxury boutique – a dream that every woman would surely like to fulfill.
Move
Like her daughters, Kris Jenner is an enthusiastic real estate buyer. She owns several estates and is always interested in buying and selling real estate. Most recently, she sold her luxurious villa in the Hidden Hills – which was the primary setting for the show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” – for approximately $15 million. It was an “off-market, all-cash deal” with German entrepreneur Katharina Harf, who is now the proud owner of the property with 6 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. In 2010 Kris bought the villa for 4 million dollars. In addition to her current residence, she also owns several properties in Calabasas (LA) and a vacation home in Palm Springs (purchase price $12 million) with a living space of a good 1,000m², which is spread over one floor.
Everyday life in the new house
After separating from the legendary KUWTK house, Kris seems to have settled in her new home. The quiet, reduced aura of the house and the furnishings seem to fit Kris’ needs exactly. As she revealed in an interview, all of her children and grandchildren continue to visit regularly to get the latest news and the best homemade cookies from mom and grandma.
“I’m loving to make cookies and snacks for all the grandkids who come by on a regular basis.” (Kris Jenner)
