How is cannabis grown? “The sickest grow facility I’ve ever seen – unbelievable!”
Have you always wondered how cannabis is grown? Here you get first-hand answers. I watched the whole video from Weedland – a full 20 minutes. And what can I say? You have to watch this video! YouTuber Weedland was out and about on the CannaZen plantation, which we have already introduced to you in the article Cannabis recipe and flowers online. From growing cuttings to extraction – you get an exclusive look behind the scenes of modern cannabis production in North Macedonia.
From mother plant to flower: this is how cultivation works
The tour begins in the so-called “Veggie Room”. Here, the plants grow from cuttings in rock wool – completely without soil, in a hydroponic system. Yellow panels indicate whether pests are on the move. Beneficial insects take care of plant protection. And watering? Still in the traditional way, by hand.
And: watering is still done by hand!

Mother room with Gorilla Zkittles & Co.
Genetics classics such as “Gorilla Zkittles”, “Gelato Dreams” and “Amsterdam Amnesia” grow in the mother room. Instead of soil, a mix of coco and perlite is used here. Particularly cool: A fine-meshed net keeps insects away. If you are interested in varieties, you can find out more about cannabis types here : Sativa, Indica & Hybrid.
Flower Room: Topping, lollipopping, light spectrum
The plants are perfectly staged in the flowering room. Huge, dense buds can be seen as early as ten days before harvest. The technique? Blue light spectrum, targeted topping and lollipopping – all for maximum bud yield.

Harvesting, drying and trimming: Everything at professional level
The plants are harvested every six days – up to 4 tons per year in total! The plants go straight into the drying room, where they dry ideally at 35-45% humidity and 15-20°C. They then go into the trimming area – naturally only through an airlock with positive pressure. Why is this important? To keep everything sterile and free from contamination.

Trimming: 13 people, 1 kg per person per day
Work in the trimming room is carried out with maximum concentration. Each employee trims up to 1,000 g per day. Music? There is none. The focus is on precision. By the way: the offcuts are not thrown away, but used for medical extracts. Resource utilization at the highest level.
Last stop: extraction and the final product
In the extraction room, potent concentrates are created from the plant residues. The machines are gigantic – the results impressive. In the showroom, you can see the end product: frosty varieties such as “Mac and Crack” and “Mruns” with intense aromas – sweet, fruity, a hint of diesel.
Variety highlights: Mac and Crack & Mruns
“Mac and Crack” impresses with resin production and a powerful effect. “Mruns (a local variant of Wedding Cake) delivers sweet, fruity, purple buds. Anyone who picks this up will realize that this is
