Noonoouri – the star of tomorrow

Noonoouri is a digital character that was created in 2012 and since then has attracted many fans and jobs! You can see at first glance that she is just a figure, which was also the goal of her inventor Zuber. No ideal, just a role model. Yesterday they were supermodels like Naomi Campbell or Cindy Crawford, today they are digital models like Lil Miquela or Bermuda. Here you can learn more about the history of the influencer of tomorrow:

Noonoouri – who or what is that?

Noonoouri is a 19-year-old virtual model who only exists on the net. The character is 1.50m tall and was created in Munich. The creator of this digital art figure is Joerg Zuber.

History

At first he had difficulties convincing an investor of his vision. Eight years ago, Zuber then marketed the figure together with his creative agency “Opium Effect”-if one could have guessed at that time that his success would boom so much, he would probably have been overwhelmed by inquiries! Despite the fact that she was conceived in Germany, her life takes place in the fashion metropolis of Paris. At the age of 19, she has already achieved a lot that many young girls can only dream of: She now has over 300,000 followers on Instagram and works with the biggest labels in the world. Among her “friends” is supermodel Naomi Campbell. Noonoouri took the fashion industry by storm and has already promoted luxury brands like Versace, Marc Jacobs, Dior and Kim Kardashian’s cosmetics line. Noonoouri is supposed to embody freedom, says inventor Joerg Zuber. For him, fashion means freedom. He has been able to visualize his ideas with just one “person” and couldn’t be happier with the result.

What distinguishes them from others?

Why is Noonoouri different from her “Avatar colleagues”? She is by far not the only digital influencer. What distinguishes Noonoouri from the other virtual models and influencers is her doll-like appearance. She doesn’t look deceptively real, like character Miquela Sousa does, for example. – Not on purpose, because Zuber does not want to give birth to more unrealistic beauty ideals. The girls at a young age think they have enough to compare themselves with false role models on Instagram and Co. There is no need to create even more ideals than already exist anyway.

He just wanted to create a character, which should let us look into a dream world.

“People follow her because she is different. With her you can dive into a dream world”

Zuber wanted to set an example with her: she doesn’t wear real fur, is committed to sustainable fashion and even “lives” vegan. All attitudes, from which we humans could cut a slice – especially “real” influencers, who often only want to represent a classical ideal of beauty. Perfect skin, permanently styled hair, the most beautiful clothes and a top trained body – all this is presented by the common influencers on their social platforms. But this is not always true! With a lot of editing and retouching everyone would be able to do it.

This is exactly why Noonoouri is different! No ideal, no real-looking character. Just a character who is supposed to be a role model.

What are virtual influencers in general?

Virtual influencers are an integral part of tomorrow’s world. Behind them are inventors who conceive a certain idea of a virtual character in the form of an avatar and control it with the computer. Some of them are already known worldwide and others are still on their way. Some of them are better known and work with more companies and brands than living influencers. They are consciously adapted to a target group, which probably explains their success. But a large part of mankind is not yet fully convinced of the idea that virtual characters should really overtake living ones.

Influencer Marketing

Influencer marketing is a strategy to convey brand messages. Instead of advertising on TV or large billboards, they go through specific target groups on the Internet. People are used who have a wide reach and thus reach many followers – in other words: the larger the community, the more weight the influencer’s opinion about a particular product carries. Influencer marketing is often combined with social marketing.
