The “Kö”, as it is affectionately called by Düsseldorfers themselves, is one of the best known and most popular luxury shopping miles in the world. This style is also reflected in the residents of the beautiful city on the Rhine. Some young design talents from all over Germany have settled in Düsseldorf, as some renowned fashion schools, such as the AMD – Akademie Mode & Design, the Design Department or the Mode Design College are located here.

The CPD has been held twice a year since 2012. Included are various fashion fairs, for example “The Gallery Düsseldorf”, “DATE” or “Supreme Women & Men Düsseldorf”.

The citizens of Düsseldorf do not simply go shopping, for the Rhinelanders of the luxury-oriented fashion metropolis, fashion & shopping are a kind of culture that is gladly cultivated. The Königsallee is the flagship luxury boulevard in the Rhineland and stands for exclusivity, the Shadow-Akarden and the urban old town attracts with numerous small boutiques.
