Nobody would have expected this, on Tuesday Chanel icon Karl Lagerfeld had another appointment at the Artelier, which he was unfortunately unable to attend. The cause of death is thought to be the consequences of pancreatic cancer. Other illnesses cannot be ruled out either. At the age of 85, Lagerfeld was still active as a designer for Chanel and adorned the catwalks of international fashion weeks.
