Longchamp Paris - Store opening in Cologne - FIV

French elegance in Cologne – Longchamp Paris is opening a flagship store in Cologne, near the cathedral, on Thursday, November 26, 2015. With an enticing “opening cocktail” for invited guests, one of further planned stores in Germany is now to open its doors and inspire fashion-conscious customers. In addition to the Cologne location, further stores are planned in locations such as Münster, Sylt, Bremen and Hanover.

The French traditional company for handbags and travel accessories made of leather and canvas is especially known for its distinctive handbags in pliage style. The colour palette is wide and makes women’s hearts beat faster all over the world. The price portfolio is colorful, the French noble brand offers bags in the middle as well as in the higher price segment. Longchamp is strongly represented worldwide with more than 1000 sales points and numerous boutiques.

Longchamp: Store openings in Europe

Already last year Longchamp opened two new stores in Europe’s top locations Munich and Paris. The store in Munich was the fourth in Germany. It convinces with a great location. Highlight: The staircase from the ground floor to the first floor. Fashion lovers will enjoy bag models as well as women’s shoes and women’s fashion.

Longchamp family business

Longchamp was founded in 1948 by Jean Cassegrain in Paris. Since then the fashion company is family owned and managed by the Cassegrain family. Besides the designs for the usual bag collections Longchamp often works together with different designers and artists who create individual special models. These are often offered as limited editions and are particularly valuable. Super model Kate Moss has been designing her own line of bags for Longchamp since 2010. In 2012, a new edition of the bag “Le Pliage”, entirely in leather, enriched the bag collection. In 2006, the fashion company expanded its product range to include shoes.
