This year Damur has come up with something that no one has done before at Berlin Fashion Week. The looks of the collection are presented on the Berlin river, the Spree! The models move on boats to the music and give besides the presentation of the clothes a wonderful dance performance.

The brand strives to expand the possibilities of individual freedom of expression while reducing the environmental impact of fashion production. In doing so, it focuses on durable and innovative streetwear made from high-quality fabrics sourced from remnants and produced under ethical working conditions.

#DAMUR breaks stereotypes and addresses controversial social issues in their collections. The Berlin attitude is reflected in colorful, bold and elegant pieces. The collections play with silhouettes, use asymmetrical looks, oversized constructions and deconstructed design.

Gender categories are deliberately avoided

Gender categories are deliberately avoided and upcycled denim plays a major role, combining different colors and textures. Cutouts allow a more transparent representation of the body.

Founder and designer Damur Huang

The founder of #DAMUR is Damur (Shih-Shun) Huang, a creative and resilient designer. He completed his education in Taipei, Taiwan, studying textiles and apparel. He then continued his studies in Europe, working for renowned brands such as Alexander McQueen and Tim Van Steenbergen. In 2015, he founded his own fashion label and is heavily involved in all stages of production.
