Berlin Fashion Week 2016 – Shows, Designers & Models

First info about Fashion Week Berlin! This morning the BILD headline: “No more catwalk on 17 June – Fashion Week Berlin moves”. As in 2014, this year’s Berlin Fashion Week SS16 will again take place at the Erika Hess Ice Stadium. Why. For Fashion Week, the Straße des 17. Juni at the Brandenburg Gate is closed for three full weeks every time – a lot of organization, a lot of effort, a lot of money! Because in addition to all the effort, there is also a special use fee of over 100,00 euros! That’s why this time, as in 2014, Fashion Week will once again take place at the Erika Hess Ice Stadium.

Berlin Fashion Week 2016 – Fashion Designers, Order Fair, Models & Catwalks

In a few days it’s time. The Berlin Fashion Week starts in the next round – for the current spring and summer fashion in Berlin start again numerous fashion events, fashion shows and fashion fairs. For retailers, the fashion fairs and order fairs are particularly important. For editors but also buyers but also the big shows of the Fashion Week count. While the whole capital is dressed up, there are smaller events on every corner. Only this year the fashion scene is not focusing on the Brandenburg Gate, but a little further north in Berlin, at the Eisstadion. Of course, we from FIV will be there again live for you! We meet the fashion designers and talk to them about their current collections. Fashion Week takes place twice a year, at least in Berlin. Because the Fashion Week is worldwide and in the big metropolises like Paris, New York and Milan it takes place even more often. With separate days for men or even haute couture. Whether in London, Tokyo, Paris or Berlin, everyone who is in touch with the fashion industry meets at Fashion Week. From the big model agencies, to fashion designers, magazines, celebrities and TV channels. But the Fashion Week is not only a media event, especially the buyers get their money’s worth here. You can see the new collections live at the various designer shows, but you can also fill your stock directly at the numerous order fairs in the capital. Important: For fairs and shows you (almost) always need invitations.

Those who have worked hard all day deserve a little rest in the evening or … an after-show party or two! Throughout the days, designers, magazines and agencies invite to exclusive after-show parties in all metropolises of the world. Whoever comes in here belongs to the absolute who-is-who. Model agencies in Berlin are also part of the Fashion Week. Unfortunately, it’s like the shows and fairs, you can only get into the good parties with an invitation and without a camera!

The best way is to take the S+U Wedding or S+U Naturkundemuseum, then just a few hundred meters further, between U-Bahn Reinickendorfer Straße and U-Bahn Schwartzkopfstraße, you will find the Erika Hess Ice Stadium, with all the shows of the Fashion Week!
