Anna Christina Schwartz is one of Germany’s most likeable models on social media. With her open nature, she takes her followers with her on every journey and shows insights into her private world. We were allowed to interview her and asked her questions about the modeling world, traveling and her year 2020.
FIV: Hi Anna-Christina and nice that we can do an interview with you today. You are in demand as a model a lot on the road, but how did you actually get into modeling? And what has been your most exciting modeling job so far? Which job did you enjoy the most?
Anna: During my training as a physiotherapist I earned some extra money at the Würzburg wine festival and was approached by a model scout there. I have had many exciting modeling jobs, but the job for Karl Lagerfeld in Paris was a very special highlight for me. It was a great honor to work with such an icon of the fashion industry. I also enjoyed the music video with Marc Anthony (Cambio de Piel) that we shot in Cancun. I love acting and
so it was exciting for me to be able to slip into a different role in front of a running camera. The location was also extraordinarily beautiful and the crew totally funny.
FIV: Modeling probably gets you around a lot. What would you say is your favorite travel destination?
Anna: Phew, it’s hard for me to commit to that…. However, when I lived in NYC, I found it incredibly exciting to travel to many different Caribbean islands for bikini campaigns.
FIV: On Instagram, you also posted pictures from your Cosmopolitan editorial shoot. Tell us a little bit more about it.
Anna: I love shooting both fashion and beauty editorials. We shot the Cosmopolitan editorial a few weeks ago in Munich and created a great beauty spread with extremely fancy and expensive jewelry. I am really looking forward to the result!
TikTok & Dance Videos
FIV: On your Instagram profile, you also have your TikTok account linked. When did you start with TikTok and how did it come about?
Anna: To be honest, I’m not very active on Tiktok anymore. During the lockdown, I tried my hand at the app a bit and had a lot of fun in parts – however, it is very time consuming.
FIV: I saw that you also uploaded some dance videos on TikTok. Do you dance professionally as well? And if so since when?
Anna: I wouldn’t call it professional. But I danced a lot from a young age and developed a little passion for it. It started with ballet, jazz, modern dance and ended in hiphop. Today I hardly dance anymore – except for the 2-3 TikTok dances here and there.
Make Up Trends from Specialists
FIV: Your makeup skills are also really admirable. What are your top 3 tips for makeup fans?
Anna: Since I have been working as a model for 10 years and am constantly being made up by professional make-up artists, I was able to pick up a few tips.
My top 3 tips are:
Use eyelash curler before mascara
Make up your eyes before you apply foundation (because eye shadow often crumbles when you apply it).
Either emphasize the eyes or the lips (less is more)
FIV: What were your highlights of 2020 despite Corona?
Anna: Definitely Italy! I was lucky enough to be able to take my summer vacation in mid-August (despite Corona). I flew to Capri with my boyfriend
and we had an incredibly great time on the island. Many hikes, beach days and lots of pasta, pizza and ice cream.
FIV: What are your fashion must-haves for summer 2020?
Anna: I’m not a fashion queen, but I love airy, floral, colorful floor-length summer dresses. Otherwise I like to wear mom jeans with a plain t-shirt and blazer. And of course cute bikinis for the hot summer days.
