Parookaville Madness: Price, Line-Up and more

Welcome to Parookaville, the village that never sleeps. Meanwhile it is regarded as the biggest EDM festival in Germany. Every year since 2015, visitors from all corners of the world have come together to celebrate the Party of the Year at the former Royal Air Force military airport in Weeze.

Foundation of Parookaville

The biggest EDM festival in Germany hasn’t been around that long. It was founded in 2015 by Bernd Dicks and attracted 25,000 people to the village every day. You’re probably wondering, “Huh, why village?” There is a very simple answer to that – the Parookaville is a big village, which is being built especially for the festival time and now has over 80,000 visitors. If you go to the parookaville, you’re not visitors, you’re citizens. As a citizen of the village you get a visa and a passport for your festival stay, which replaces the old-fashioned festival tickets.

Other Specials of the biggest EDM Festival in Germany

Of course, a village needs more than its citizens and a few stages. To complete the feeling, there is a post office, an outdoor pool with seahorse option, a prison with tattoo artists, a police station, a beauty farm, a city forest, a fair with roller coaster and of course a church. However, this is not a normal church, but a church that is free from customs and religion. In the past years hundreds of festival marriages have been celebrated there and some real marriage proposals have been made.

The highlights of the Parookaville

On the approximately 150,000 square meters of the festival’s grounds, some of the greats of the scene have already gathered. Among them the French EDM giant David Guetta, Steve Aoki, Axwell Ingrosso or the German Djs Robin Schulz and Felix Jaehn. Their performances are underlined with powerful light and sound effects – an elaborate backdrop takes the celebrants to other worlds.

Prices and camping possibilities

What is a festival without camping? That’s why we’ve put together some information for you here, so that you have everything you need for your planning at a glance:

A visa for the whole weekend costs you 209€ – that’s the entrance fee. The Mellowfields is still available for 2019 from the different campingsides. The Mellowfields costs you 295€ plus 10,-€ garbage deposit.

Deluxe Camping

Of course you can also save yourself a lot of work by simply renting a ready-made tent with accessories for your stay there. Since the places for 2019 have already gone well, you would have to stick to it, as there are only a few 2 person tents left. The price for the Bioko Deluxe package is 1.468€, which is 734,-€ per person.

The line-up

The line-up for 2019 is still a big secret, but it will definitely be overwhelming once again. With scene giants like Zedd and David Guetta it’s hard to imagine how this can be topped. However, like you, we are confident that Parookaville will not disappoint its fans in 2019 either. The tickets are already sold out shortly before the line-up is announced – so get on with it. Parookaville is waiting for you.
