Today I take you on my 7-day tour through Marbella! The main goal is to scout new real estate for our customers in Germany and Europe.

Our first villa is special because of the personal connection to the builder. Here you will find materials and ideas that you will not find in many villas in Marbella, as they are usually designed for an unknown buyer. Each bedroom, each bathroom, with its own design. Black marble, warm sand tones, a highlight for 4.4 million euros.

Location and Climate: Tropical Europe

Let’s start with the location, because Marbella is almost at the southernmost point of Europe! Not much further lies the Strait of Gibraltar. A few kilometers beyond that is the African coast, which you can even see from Marbella on a clear day.

Many call Marbella the “Miami of Europe”, because Marbella has the highest density of first-class golf courses. Alone in the immediate vicinity you can find over 120 golf clubs. Marbella has good weather constantly and always good temperatures, as described around 17 – 31°C, throughout the entire year.

Marbella is directly on the Mediterranean Sea, almost at the southernmost tip of Europe. Therefore, it mainly attracts Europeans to the city and coastal area. For example, there are many Swedes in the city, as well as Italians and Germans.

The city itself has about 140,000 inhabitants. Accordingly, there is everything here that your heart desires! From Starbucks over McDonald’s to shopping opportunities such as Aldi, Lidl, but also exclusive brands such as Louis Vuitton, Hermés and others, are at home here.

Those looking for the most exclusive boutiques and, of course, also the most exclusive yachts should definitely visit Puerto Banus. The harbor is not far from the old town, the so-called “Old-Town”. Puerto Banús is a beautiful harbor that is full of palm trees in the almost tropical climate of the city.

Interior: 3 floors, from sleeping to spa area

Interior – The interior of the villa offers a total of 767 square meters and is divided into two levels for the residents and a third level, which in turn contains a spa, fitness room, and another room for staff. Starting with the ground floor, with the particularity that rooms here are often built in and therefore rarely large rooms, over 100, 200 square meters exist. Here, it was ensured that almost the entire ground floor lies on one area. Only the kitchen with its extras (e.g., wine cabinet) is separated.

Exactly this is what makes the charm of this newly built villa, for singles, couples, but also for families. Depending on the situation, the ground floor can be flexibly used, from a shared breakfast to a TV evening or even a party with friends. Overall, the property is a real gem and will certainly not be available on the market for long.

This villa was my personal highlight!

Top modern, noble materials and a very special concept. This villa has a day house and a night house. Totally Unique!

At first glance, it sounds elaborate, why two houses?! But it makes a lot of sense in almost tropical regions like Marbella! Depending on the sun position, the temperatures change. Therefore, the gardens and plots are often larger. So you can be at different spots during the day, depending on where it is most pleasant at that moment.

Also something very special, the pool! Often the pool is built to the left of the property. This one stretches away from the property and thus has something very lordly! But it gets even better! The villa and the pool are separated by a 10 meter waterfall!

I have rarely seen something so beautiful and calming. When the waterfall is in operation, you can hear it throughout the entire area, even in the interior rooms, a pleasant trickle. Oh yes, there is also a 300-year-old olive tree.

Tips for Golfers: Villa + Golf Club

I have a special tip at the end for all golfers and golf fans! The big advantage is that they live directly on the golf course.

In Germany, Sweden, Italy, and other countries, golfers often face a problem: their own golf course is far away. 30 minutes, 40 minutes by car. Marbella offers the highest density of golf courses in all of Europe, here major tournaments are held and the entire region is also specialized for golf fans.

If we talk about a radius of 30 or 40 minutes, you will certainly find 80 or 90 good golf courses in Marbella. This makes the location so attractive. Here, the cold autumn and winter months can be spent very well with pleasant climate and temperatures.

Whether as a permanent residence or as a temporary property that is rented out when not in use, there are extremely many townhouses and villas here, especially for golf fans. The big advantage is that the way to the golf course is not far, it often leads simply through your own garden, past the pool.

In hardly any other city in all of Europe are there so many villas as here in Marbella. The reason for this is that many use Marbella as a second or third home. Preferably, of course, in the autumn and winter months, when it is cold in other countries. This means that many of the villas stand empty for months. Many use this to rent out their villas.
