Infused Kitchen — Cannabis Recipes for Baking, Cooking, Grilling, and DrinksThe Infused Kitchen starts with the right base.

How Infused Kitchen works: Extracting Cannabis

The foundation of the entire Infused Kitchen is a simple chemical principle: THC and CBD are fat-soluble. They do not dissolve in water — but excellently in butter, oil, and alcohol. This means: before anything is cooked, baked, or grilled, the active ingredient must be transferred into a fat.

The process is always the same:

  1. Decarboxylation: Heat cannabis in the oven at 110–120 °C for 30–40 minutes. During this process, the inactive THCA is converted into active THC — without this step, the effect remains minimal.
  2. Infusion: Place the decarboxylated cannabis in warm fat (butter, coconut oil, olive oil) and let it steep at a low temperature (maximum 80 °C) for 1–3 hours. The fat absorbs the cannabinoids.
  3. Filtering: Press the cannabis material through a fine sieve or cheesecloth. What remains is the cannabutter or cannabis oil — clear, intensely scented, and ready for cooking.
Decarboxylation in the oven — the first step of every Infused KitchenWithout decarboxylation, there is no effect: THCA becomes active THC only through heat.

Anyone who understands this process can theoretically prepare any dish infused with cannabis. The base is always the same — what changes is only the carrier medium and the dish. Find all details on making cannabutter, cannabis oil, and cannahoney in our basics guide.

Cannabis Baking — the Highlights

Cannabis Space Brownies — the classic par excellence

Space Brownies are the symbol of the cannabis kitchen. The trick lies in the cannabutter: properly made, evenly incorporated, accurately dosed. Whoever masters the butter masters the baking. Besides brownies, cannabis cookies, muffins and crumble are the most cooked recipes.

Cannabis Cooking — from pasta to goulash

Infused pasta — cannabis oil makes the difference

Heartier cuisine with cannabis: the cannabis oil never goes directly into the hot pan, but is added only at the end to the finished dish. This way, the active ingredient remains intact. Pasta, goulash, quesadilla — the possibilities are endless.

Cannabis Grilling — summer with effect

Cannabis BBQ — pulled pork and marinades on the grill

An infused marinade turns every barbecue evening into something special. Cannabis oil is absorbed into the meat — due to the short grilling time, the active ingredient content remains largely intact. Cannabis BBQ sauce and herb butter complete the experience.
