The designs of the fashion designers are usually presented by mannequins or models on the catwalk and thus presented to the world what will be the trend of the coming fashion season. We at FIV Magazine have summarized the highlights of the fashion brand Givenchy for you here.
Hubert de Givenchy and his grandiose fashion empire
Hubert de Givenchy founded his still successful fashion company in Paris in 1952. After a short time, the fashion designer conquered the Parisian fashion sky with his inspiring flair for fashion. In addition to luxurious haute couture fashion for women, high-priced prêt-à-porter, accessories, perfume and cosmetics – Givenchy is one of the most sought-after and gifted fashion designers of our time.

Between exquisite Haute Couture & exciting Prêt-à-porter
The fashion empire of Hubert de Givenchy leaves nothing to be desired. Fantastic evening gowns. Comfortable Ready to Wear collections. Heavy coats for the winter and airy light dresses for the summer. On Givenchys catwalk there is something for every fashionista.
Formal clothing with a touch of modern lightness
An epic backdrop in a completely dark room, with a catwalk that is only lit by spotlights. Creative Director Clara Waight Keller shows her new Autumn Winter collection at ‘L’ Hippodrome de Longchamp’ in Paris. Check out the complete show here.
Extravagant fashion like from a fairy tale
Clare Waight Keller’s haute couture for Givenchy has so far been characterized by a certain rigor. This is undoubtedly due to her deep respect for the house and possibly also because haute couture is a new world for her. However, as always, we find her collection absolutely successful. See for yourself in the video.
Summer dresses, feminine silhouettes and romantic pantsuits
Clare Waight Keller’s haute couture collection for spring was rooted in her memories of a visit to the gardens Vita Sackville-West had planted at Sissinghurst Castle, “It’s one of the most romantic places in England,” she said, “I’m obsessed with this place.
Fancy leather pants and pompous fur coats for winter
In 2018 Givenchy presented its second ready-to-wear range at the Palace of Justice in Paris. Earlier in the day, creative director Claire Keller spoke with the assurance that her groundbreaking couture collection would be well represented at the Academy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles, the world’s largest global fashion stage, in the evening. Check out the full fashion show here.
Top class fashion shows: Givenchy’s best backdrops
The creative minds at Givenchys are always coming up with something new. After all, a normal catwalk gets boring at some point. That’s why the best locations are always sought for the fashion empire’s latest shows – with great success, we think.
Male prints and emancipated cuts in the midst of Italian romanticism
In 2020, the label left the familiar Paris to show its collection in the gardens of the Villa Palmieri in Florence – a place where history and romance mix. The exhibition starts on the terrace of the house surrounded by cast-iron tables and ends in the extensive green spaces of the property.
Melancholic Haute Couture in a royal garden
Waight Keller, creative director of the brand, paid tribute to the founder of the Hubert de Givenchy brand, who died shortly before, with the autumn haute couture collection. The silhouettes of the mannequins were increasingly in the foreground here and richly decorated dresses twisted the heads of the ladies in the Front Row in particular.
Diverse collection for men with lots of latex, embroidery and metal lace
For Autumn / Winter 2020 Claire Waight Keller dressed the young models in mainly figure-hugging coats and latex bodysuits. Inspired by the fashion of the young prince Yeshwant Rao Holkar II, who left India half a century ago to explore the world. So you can find here mainly royal embroideries and sparkling rhinestones, as you can see in the video.
