Pamela Reif – 4 collections with NA-KD

For all those who still don’t know her: Pamela Reif is a German entrepreneur, author, model, and designer. She’s from Karlsruhe and has been shaping the German fashion scene since 2015. Pamela has over 4 million followers on Instagram and more than 1.4 million subscribers on YouTube. She also has a fitness channel focused on health and nutrition. Pamela Reif x NA-KD Reborn is her fourth collaboration with NA-KD and her first sustainable collection.

NA-KD: Sustainability Initiative with Pamela Reif

Pamela Reif has already designed 3 collections with the Swedish fashion brand. Now there’s a new project: starting on November 10, you can buy NA-KD Reborn x Pamela Reif online and in selected stores.

“We are very happy to be working with Pamela Reif again, this time on a sustainable collection. NA-KD Reborn is a very important step on our path towards sustainability,” says Natasha Billing, Brand Director of NA-KD.

Various basics made from organic and recycled materials, including knits, tops, and t-shirts with different cuts. Pamela wants to emphasize sustainability in her new collection:

“For me, being sustainable means not wasting clothes by wearing them only once and then throwing them away, so I designed a very timeless collection focused on basics. My goal was to create pieces that people would want to keep in their wardrobes for a long time. When NA-KD proposed exactly the same concept, I was thrilled by the opportunity to make a difference.”

Timeless clothing = Sustainable!

With different textiles and fabrics, each piece of the collection is unique and deserves high quality. The various textures and colors make each piece special and one-of-a-kind. All pieces can be mixed and matched to create beautiful, fresh, or simple looks. The sets can be worn daily or for special occasions. Sustainability can be promoted in many different ways, and that’s exactly why Pamela is committed to manufacturing basics with beautiful designs. Whether the material is recycled or not doesn’t really matter in the end if the clothing is thrown away every year because it’s no longer in fashion. With this attitude, Pamela probably convinces most of her fans and admirers and is a good role model for her audience.

Whether pants, tops or jumpers, the collection has no shortage of pieces. All the pieces are very timeless and quite basic. Precious long sleeves in different colors, sleeveless blouses with sweet details and Pamela’s favorite: a simple black skater-style skirt. Already in her first collection with NA-KD, the black skirt was bought directly by her fans. This time Pam has once again included it in her collection to meet her fans’ demand. Most of the pieces are tops or long pants that can be worn in winter, perfect for the collection’s launch in November. The prices of the pieces vary between 22.95€ and 55.95€.

100% ecological: the value of recycled raw materials

As the name of the collection suggests, the NA-KD Reborn collection is about rebirth. A rebirth of old materials that, otherwise, would have ended up in the trash or even in nature. Even the smallest details, such as the label, have been carefully attended to in terms of sustainability. The pieces in the collection are made from 100% recycled polyester, recycled cotton, organic cotton, and lyocell. The label is made from FSC-certified recycled polyester, recycled paper, and care paper.

Sustainability in Pamela’s private life

The fitness model not only emphasizes sustainability in her collection, but Pamela also pays attention to her ecological footprint in her private life. In Germany, Pamela avoids flying by plane. She simply takes the train. Plastic bottles have also stopped being part of Pamela’s life, as she always prefers to carry a bottle to refill and also tries to do without plastic as much as possible.

Collection launch – Meeting and greeting and fans first

On November 10th, at the same time as the launch of her online collection, Pamela raffled off a meet & greet with a presentation of the collection and cooking together for 15 of her most loyal Instagram followers. For the event, an attic with beautiful views in Düsseldorf was rented. For Pamela, it was important to give her long-time fans the opportunity to try on and feel the new clothes. Afterwards, there was lunch and a class to make acai bowls from her own cookbook. With a selection of small accessories such as metal bottles to replace plastic ones. There was plenty of fruit and smoothies to snack on.
