Colovos: The Designer couple launches two years ago

The designer couple Nicole and Michael Colovos showed at New York Fashion Week their new Spring/Summer collection for 2018. The couple worked both for Helmut Lang as creative directors before they decided to launch their Brand Colovos in 2016. At New York Fashion week they presented their talent of the concept of Colovos Fashion. The Spring/Summer collection included not only dark navy jeans and earthy colors but also fabrics with prints and handcrafted clothes which involved great traditional tailoring. They offered a selection of effortless elegance with samples that got influenced by Cristopher Astley´s artwork Mayhap series. The models had their hair styled back and minimalistic makeup to leave the attention to the proportions and architectual play with lines of the apparel.

Anna Sui: Launch of  her new Collection

Anna Sui started before the end of her last senior year at Parsons Scool of Design in New York. She launched her first collection in 1981 and her her runway show premiered in 1991. Since then she strived to bring a variety of detail into her collections. Her new collection features her love for current cultural obsessions and bohemian designs. The line includes bright prints and vintage style flower child vibes in it. Anna Sui wants to show that the focus is on happiness and positivity which was also shown in makeup and accessories. Models Gigi and Bella Hadid walked for Anna Sui´s Spring/Summer 18 collection.

Nicholas K.: Sister and brother starting in NYC

The Sister and Brother duo Nicholas and Christopher Kunz launched their Spring/Summer 18 collection digitally on the brands Instagram account (@NicholasKstudio) in cooperation with the NYFW and IMG. Because of a fire accident in the Manhattan building they moved their launch onto the last day of the Fashion Week. The massive fire damaged a lot but they were able to save most of their new collection. The new collection features amongst other things, fabrics like sand washed silk, organic cotton and tencel jerseys. It shows a great variety of prints and reflects their inspiration of futuristic natural architecture. The designer duo brings their culture, inspiration from nature, hunger for travel and devotion to the great outdoors into their work. The pictures give a reflection of jungle and beach environment with a color palette that will remind you of blue skies, white sand beaches of Tulum (Mexico) and tropical plants.
