Fashion for men – Still a real insider tip at Berlin Fashion Week. That’s why we are very happy to be part of the current collection presentation of Brachmann. On the last day of Berlin Fashion Week, after many shows and aftershows. But, it is worth to have a look at the progressive label for menswear. Brachmann modernizes menswear classics with a playful approach to hybrids, details and silhouettes inspired by architecture, modern art and pop culture.
The show at me Collectors Room Berlin was in contrast to the runway shows well manageable. In showroom character the men’s models presented fine cuts and very urban styles. The Brachmann Menswear S/S 2017 collection is inspired by maritime classics such as sailor shirt and trousers, the duffle coat and the Guernsey sweater. Precise cuts with strict architectural lines, geometric shapes, clear axes, interpenetrating planes and applied pleats define the image. The colours alternate between dark blue and white, sand colours provide counterpoints. Fabrics range from cotton, linen and wool for shirts, trousers, suits and waistcoats, to merino wool for sweaters and cardigans, to waterproof cottons for light coats and jackets. The expression of this post-classic collection ranges from urban chic to minimalist elegance.
