This year, the so-called shield sunglasses are gaining a place in the fashion world. What is striking about them is the continuous plastic or polycarbonate lens that encloses the eyes. This offers wearers a wide field of vision and good sun protection. On top comes a portion of coolness, so outdoor fans and athletes in particular benefit from these models.

U.K. Vogue 1966: Dunyale Luna as first Person of Colour

Donatella Versace loves it extravagant. Accessories from the women’s collection were reused as belt bags and archetypal garments were given a feminine touch. So here the designer went for oversized work suits, chunky denim, t-shirts with ruffled hems and swanky dresses. “These are men who don’t care about the rules, and that’s what I love,” Donatella Versace let slip in her press release.

The Men’s Summer Collection 2020 was bursting with light-heartedness. The focus was on the transformation from boy to man. Versace went for oversized suits, fringed biker jackets and trendy jersey trousers. “When a man becomes a man, the first thing he wants is a car,” Donatella Versace let slip before the show. Summer collection full of tropical feeling and naked skin

Donatella Versace found inspiration for the 2015 men’s collection in Cuba. The fashion presented here by the luxurious fashion empire was lively and above all full of life. Almost royal as in ancient times, it was here through denim pants embroidered with gold leaves and golden cardigans. CAZAL Eyewear – Exclusive show of work

The famous design museum in the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich is showing an exhibition of CAZAL’s work in connection with its influences on pop culture.

On July 12 at 5 p.m. the exhibition will be opened in the Futuro Haus next to the Pinakothek der Moderne. Afterwards, a talk on the topic “CAZAL & Counterculture” will take place in the Amerikahaus. Guests will be Johan Kugelberg, lecturer and archivist at Cornell University in New York, DJ Supreme, CAZAL aficionado from Seattle and Harald Böttcher, former owner and managing director of CAZAL and son of the company founder. The event will be moderated by exhibition curator Sven Christ. As part of the Kunstarealfest, a block party will take place on Sunday, July 14, as it was celebrated in the Bronx in the early 80s. A mix of Jamaican sound systems, rap, hip-hop, disco and funk awaits the guests.
