According to a survey, just under 40 per cent of German camping holidaymakers spent their main holiday in this country in 2019.

Interview with Managing Director Nadja Swarovski

Founder Daniel Swarovski has been dead for over 60 years, but the company is still in family hands. Today already in the 5th generation. Since 1995 Nadja Swarovski has stood behind the management of the company and has to assert herself against the cheap competition from China.

In an interview, she takes the audience behind the scenes, shows them her office and tells them what inspires her.

Thomas Sabo: German brand conquers jewelry market

Thomas Sabo is a German jewelry brand, which was founded in 1984 in Lauf an der Pegnitz (district town in Bavaria) by the same name. Until today the brand is one of the most popular jewellery brands at all. Sabo is known for his unique collections that have high recognition value – the Charm Club or Sterling Silver collections are one of his most famous. In the early 1980s, he started importing jewellery from Asia, which he offered for sale at trade fairs in Germany. A short time later, the foundation of his brand followed – apparently his first attempts at the fairs showed success.

Unadorned and everlasting: The classic horse trailer

What I particularly liked about this horse pendant from Vinani was the elegant snake chain and the different lengths available. The pendant is made of tarnish-protected sterling silver 925, and probably makes the heart of all horse lovers beat faster. The three-dimensional horse is simple but stylish and rounds off every outfit as a sweet highlight. The size of the pendant was also chosen appropriately, not too big and not too small and the plastic design creates a beautiful effect.

But rather a horse charm?

Since my niece also owns a charm bracelet, among other things, and collects various charms for this, I had also considered the possibility of giving her a horse charm. I had chosen this little rocking horse made of silver, which was specially refined by rhodium plating and is thus also protected against tarnishing. Makes super cute on the wrist just next to other animal motifs.
