If the tips break despite caring treatment, it’s time for a visit to the hairdresser. Here, the broken ends of the hair are cut off and at the same time the entire mane is given more bounce again. Important: If you want to cut your own tips, do not use ordinary household scissors. They are not designed for hair and can damage it during cutting. Get a pair of scissors that are actually designed for hair.

What you should definitely not do: Don’ts in winter hair care

Last but not least, we’ve gathered a small list of things that you should definitely not do to your hair in winter.

1. Never rub the hair dry. This can roughen the cuticle on the surface of the hair, making it dull.
2. Do not comb the hair before blow-drying. Combing hair when it is wet can severely stress it. Therefore, please blow dry first and then comb.
3. Do not change shampoo too often. Changing ingredients can harm your hair. Therefore, it is better to choose a product that does not contain sulfates and always use it if possible.
4. Do not wear a cap on wet hair. As mentioned briefly above, you should never leave the house in winter with damp or even wet hair – and not only for the sake of your health, but also for the sake of your hair. Likewise, you should not simply put a cap on your wet hair and go out that way. This can lead to hair breakage.

FIV: Hello dear Tascha great that it worked out with the interview today. You are an absolute multi-talent: You are not only successful as a blogger, model and actress, but also work as a hairdresser. That can definitely get super stressful a lot of the time. How do you manage to balance it all?

Tascha: I have a precise schedule and spread Instagram and the hairdresser over different days. But the secret recipe is that you have to love what you do. When that’s the case, everything comes easy. I get up in the morning and look forward to my tasks and also always feel like breaking new ground. You just have to be careful not to get bogged down.

Models should think about this before participating in GNTM!

FIV: You became known in 2011 through your participation in the 6th season of GNTM. After that you had a successful career. Would you advise young models to also participate in GNTM?

Tascha: It was a mega experience, no question. Whether you can become a well-booked model in the end is another matter. The past has shown that. Personally, it was fun, but I don’t know if the contracts that you sign there are as much fun. Unfortunately, I didn’t get any money for my participation at the time and even had to buy my toothpaste from my training salary.

Tascha’s recommendations: The best hair care products!

FIV: You are an absolute beauty expert, especially when it comes to hair. What are your top 5 hair care products that no hair care routine should be without?

FIV: On Instagram, you regularly share impressions from your wonderful travels. Is there a place you haven’t been to yet that you would definitely like to travel to?

Tascha: Sure, I love traveling and would have loved to have been to every spot on earth. My next dream destinations include Mexico and the Seychelles.

FIV: You show a lot of your life and your everyday life on social media, which also includes your dog Tyson. How do you combine traveling with your dog?

Tascha: In fact, I got the little one back then in my relationship. My ex-boyfriend and I still get along well and share the dog from time to time when I’m on vacation or have business things to do.

FIV: It’s not always easy to feel good and be happy. What would you say when are you really happy?

Tascha: I’m happiest in the summer. But being happy is a matter of attitude. I always try to keep in mind the positive things I experience in everyday life and appreciate my current life. Actually, you have so much you need to be happy. You just have to keep it in mind. Of course, the right partner for life would be one more reason to be happy.
