Krumlov: Holiday resort in the south of the Czech Republic

Tip 1: Llama hike in nature

Taking an idyllic walk in the quiet forest, with a llama for company? You don’t experience that every day! The gentle and loving animals contribute immensely to relaxation. In a group of up to 18 animals the walk starts at Ferienhof Reiter in Buchwinkel at Lake Waginger and leads the visitors into the forest. Llamas are generally used as therapy animals or for trekking tours through the mountains and are loyal companions. Not only children will enjoy this excursion with the llamas, but also couples will get their money’s worth during the romantic excursion!

Lake Waginger is the perfect place for a swimming holiday if you don’t want to drive all the way to the sea. As one of the warmest lakes in Bavaria, the lake offers a large number of lidos around the shore. Swimming is also possible in many places at the adjacent lake, the Tachinger See. Are you staying at one of the nine campsites around the lake? Perfect – because here you have your lido directly in front of the door of your camper or your converted van. Marine Centre Fehmarn

The Meereszentrum on Fehmarn is one of the largest seawater aquariums in Europe. The absolute highlight is a glass tunnel that leads directly through a basin and in which you can see the magnificent marine world almost up close. Also very popular are the shark worlds, which bring you closer to the snarling sea creatures. With plenty to marvel at, learn about and discover, the marine centre is fun for the whole family, but also on your own.

FehMare: Swimming pool at the Sudstrand

This indoor and adventure pool makes it possible to swim with a sea view, protected from the weather by its window front. No matter whether too much or too little sun.
