Start of the first episode: Directly to jungle testing

At 21:15, the show started on RTL, in the middle of the Australian jungle, the two presenters greeted an audience of millions in front of the television. Like every year the jungle camp will probably be a real success again this year. This year the jungle camp does not start as usual from the Hotel Versace, but it goes directly to the jungle exam!

No time for presentations and stories from the past: Team 1 has to go 100 meters high into the air. Both groups will enter the competition directly this year. So for group one, it was a high-rise. A narrow steel scaffold, only 30 centimeters space and ten meters above the abyss. The task: The candidates must press the green button at the end, exactly in the right second.

Ex Germanys Next Topmodel Gisele suffers a crying fit

No problem for most, except for Germany’s Next Topmodel Gisele. She already got the first crying cramp, although she wasn’t even over the abyss – not even on the catwalk. Who’d have thought? Already in the first hour Gisele has her first crying cramp. While all the others simply walked the 10 meters over the abyss, she was already standing with wobbly knees at the beginning. Less than five seconds later, the first tears flowed and the famous sentence came:

For the second group around Domenico de Cicco, ex Bachelor and ex porn star Sibylle Rauch we went to the jungle check. Change your clothes, do not take any forbidden objects with you, off to the first jungle test! While the first group could still let off steam over the roofs of the city jungle, group 2 had to tackle the disgusting tasks directly! Four big buckets with cockroaches, maggots and everything the jungle has to offer. While in the previous seasons the celebrities were introduced first, very extensively and mostly on a yacht with Prosecco, it went this time directly into the jungle test.

The task: Finding balls between maggots and cockroaches

In the four boxes there are several balls with which the candidates have to hit targets to win stars. Of course they are not allowed to take the ball out with their hands but have to do it with their mouths! Super disgusting! Still, everyone tried! Two stars were awarded at the end for the second team. Afterwards the jungle camp participants were allowed to go to the base camp. Bastian Yotta provides motivation and the first topic of conversation:

“I am strong! I am healthy. I am full of energy”

We continue with motivation training by Bastian Yotta and the first blasphemies before the toilet about him. The stress between Yotta and Chris Töpperwien in particular made headlines in the run-up to the event – more about this in the portraits. But they are not the only ones, also Evelyn Burdecki and Domenico de Cicco have a lot to talk about. After the two met on RTL, it was quickly over again. What’s the matter with you? Dominico had a girlfriend and she was 7 months pregnant! In the camp, the two of them get close again quickly:

Giselle in the first jungle test – Episode 2

Day 2 at the jungle camp! Ex Germanys Next Topmodel Giselle has to compete in the first big test in 2019. Leila says if Giselle doesn’t bring anything, she’ll get barbecued! Clear announcement to achieve something. Giselle appears like an Amazon, with Undercut.

Canal Fatal – spiders, snakes and 12 stars in discharge

Yesterday, Giselle aborted twice directly. The first exam is also the first appearance of Dr. Bob. Dr. Bob’s been with us for year one. Did you know? Dr. Bob is not a real doctor but trained paramedic! Giselle has 12 minutes and conveniently a bikini underneath – she takes off her pants, all for the odds! But: Giselle doesn’t cry! Despite toads, mealworms and many more… and then: fear. There are holes in the drain pipe on the left and right. Giselle must reach into the holes and get the stars. I’d like to tell you more now, but Giselle won’t even try! She doesn’t dare until hole 5, mud crabs! Does she dare? No, there’s a cockroach up there. Has Giselle ever seen jungle camp? No, she says! This appears to be incomplete textd Sonja says, “Are you here just for the money?” No answer. 12 minutes of pure boredom.

She makes it into hole number 8. Only 3 minutes left and she dares at least to dive into a water basin. Without animals, without… this door was certainly built in extra as Plan B. Boring! The final result: 5 out of 12 stars. Giselle also says, “I’m not so happy with myself.”

Daily Soap: Domenico and Evelyn

Of course it will be exciting again with Domenico. If he had done something different in his life – especially in relation to “Bachelor in Paradise” with Evelyn. Domenico says it wasn’t until he got back that he found out about his girlfriend’s pregnancy. He says, “Much has changed since the little one was born,” and he goes on to say, “You appreciate things other than the superficial ones […] I’ve arrived. Remember that flirt scene from episode one? Suddenly Yotta is back and the Currywurst man! But suddenly Chris comes – the Currywurst Man! Good-humoured, with sunglasses and Yotta’s gaze says a thousand words!

But then Giselle comes back to camp, we remember: 5 out of 12 stars. What’s she doing? She’s crying! Slimy from the sewer and with Undercut she cries, as she did during the day. She “feels paralyzed” and “super weak.” She’s wondering why she’s even here. Good question Giselle! Like the host said, “Didn’t you check out the jungle camp before?” No! All Giselle wants left is water. At the waterhole everyone from the camp is waiting and when she talks about her 5 stars: Let’s hear it. That saves the day for now.

Why isn’t she happy? Maybe we’re wrong about Giselle, maybe she’s wrong about herself. Others would’ve been happy, she’s putting herself down. Good thing she’s got a team building her.

Next scene: Giselle has to go to the jungle phone. She looks in for a second, sees a moth: howl!

Guaranteed airtime! Now we take a break with Giselle.

Tommi Piper doesn’t want any more! Alcohol-dependent woman

Tommi Piper (actor and voice of the successful series “Alf”) is together with his alcohol-addicted wife and tells it directly in episode 2 about Dschnungelcamp. They’ve been married for 10 years but Tommi Piper doesn’t feel like it anymore. Giselle and Tommi and already Evelyn comes and we continue with Domenico. “The story is really gross, actually” – says Evelyn. It has been less than 3 months since the separation to “Bachelor of Paradise” came. Quietly she speaks to Giselle “Sometimes it comes up to me why you deserve this in the first place”. When she came up with the subject yesterday, Domenico was right on it. That still seems to be in Evelyn.

With some like Tommi Piper the first stories already come to light. Every celebrity has his story straightened out. Giselle also says “you don’t know if there’s anything left between them when you see the looks between them”. Currently she still sees an injury with Evelyn, otherwise she would not think constantly about it.

Who needs to take the next jungle exam?

For the 2nd Dschnungelprüfung the race was close. The decision was made between Giselle and Bastian Yotta. Tomorrow Giselle must line up!

Right at the beginning: Penalties! What’s the matter with you? Plates were washed in the brook, Mr. Yotta was and quickly reassured: “It doesn’t matter who it was!” I see. Giselle cries because she has to take the second big test. Bastian Yotta immediately takes care of it with new mental coaching. In addition Thorsten Legat, ex-player profile and ex-candidate gets his first small moderation chance. Giselle must dive into the ship of horror, which of course also means diving. What crocodiles do to Giselle we already learned in the 6th hole of the 2nd exam. After all, Giselle smiles, even with diving goggles.

Domenico as boss wants to enforce a reasonable rule: Everything should be able to sleep well and because there are too few beds, it should rotate. Especially for the elderly. Chris Töpperwien, however, doesn’t see that, because he has a bed! He indirectly attacks Domenico verbally and says that there will certainly be stress. Then, of course, comes Mr. Yotta and the direct counter from Töpperwien: “I know exactly who you are” – now it will be exciting! Good thing Giselle finished the exam so fast again. Right – there was something else – in a few minutes Giselle comes back from the test, with 0 stars.

7.58 a.m. in Australia, Giselle comes back to the camp with laughter and “O stars”, immediately the faces of the celebrities get serious. Especially Mr. Yotta doesn’t think it’s funny: “stress”, “disaster”. Good thing he got himself an extra 3 kilograms of fat before. Worse, he says “I’m losing the desire to coach her” – shock! But it gets even harder when the bed question arises again. Giselle can’t cope with it and “can’t imagine it”, “exams are stress enough” for her. This appears to be incomplete textd tears!

He thinks that Yotta would have lost control faster. Especially his looks, his reactions: For him, Bastian Yotta is dangerous. But they also have little sympathy for Leila Lowfire, the sex expert and Doreen Dietel (actress).

GNTM – Facts & News

Your Application at GNTM

Already in July Heidi Klum called in a video on her Instagram account to apply for the new season under the hashtag #IchbinGNTM2019. She then looks at everything and if you are lucky, you are invited to the casting. This is not the only way to apply to GNTM. It is possible to come to one of the casting dates in the big cities and introduce yourself. These casting dates are already over, but with the knowledge you can prepare for the next casting! The requirements for an application include a minimum size of 1.76m and a minimum age of 16 years.

The Jury 2019

As some may have already noticed, Thomas Hayo will not be a member of the jury for the first time after 8 years. On his Instagram account he wrote: “Despite all the joy over the past years, I have also noticed that it is now time for me to take a break from GNTM and break new ground. Since filming for GNTM has always taken a long time, the 49-year-old now wants to focus on his friends and neglected projects. Too bad, the division of the girls into Team Thomas and Team Michael was always very entertaining. But what will happen with GNTM? What do you think Heidi Klum has been thinking about? It was announced that the only one who will be constantly on the jury for each episode is Heidi Klum. For each episode there will be different national and international guest jurors who will support Heidi in her decisions. Altogether we see 15 episodes with 15 different guest jurors. There is also a rumour that Heidi Klum will also include her friend Tom Kaulitz in the show.  Many will certainly ask themselves what it looks like with Michael Michalsky, who has been a member of the GNTM jury for 3 years now. It is speculated whether Michael will also appear as guest juror in the show. On his Instagram account, he posted a picture of himself showing himself together with Heidi Klum while the first episode of GNTM 2019 is being filmed. It has already been announced that the first winner will be Lena Gercke in the next season. In addition, there is hot debate at the moment as to whether the 47-year-old Nadja Auermann will be part of the GNTM Jury 2019. Top 10 – The last girls fight for the victory!!!

There are less and less girls. Now Heidi has already reduced to the top 10 and there are 5 models from team Thomas and 5 models from team Michael. Right now there is a tie, but that can change every week. We are still curious how the girls will do in the coming weeks and who will finally enter the final.

GNTM Episode 8: Greta leaves voluntarily! + Fashion Week Berlin

In the 8th episode of Germany’s next Topmodel 2017 the girls had to prove themselves in real model life. It went to the Fashion Week and the first big castings, where the girls were in direct comparison to professional models. Carina and Brenda were able to get a job for the coveted Maybelline show. At the decision walk Team Michael got a white card, which they had to give to a team member themselves. After much drama, Giuliana got this and Julia had to leave the show.

GNTM Episode 7: Catwalk Training + Nude Shooting

In the 7th episode of Germany’s next Topmodel 2017 the girls had to prove themselves naked in front of the camera. They had to pose in front of the camera only sprayed with paint, which was not so easy for one or the other. But as if so much naked skin was not enough, the girls also had to complete the choreographed decision walk only dressed in paint. Here, however, not only the naked skin but with most much more the choreography was the problem.

GNTM Episode 6: Decision in the ring + Neele leaves the show

Germany’s Next Topmodel” went into the ring on Thursday. This time even literally. The girls had to do one of the photo shootings/decision walk in a wrestling ring in the 6th episode. The fight between Neele and Sabine of course went into the 2nd round and Sabine won. Neele unfortunately had to leave the show.

On “Germany’s Next Topmodel” it was all about the first job on Thursday. Celiné prevailed and got the job for the cover of “Shape”. The weekly shooting was very, very dirty this week as well as the bitching between Neele and Sabina. Melina unfortunately had to leave the show and fly back home. Yesterday was the day. The big makeover 2017! We have considered in our previous video, what the candidates could get for hairstyles. Today we take a look at how many of our hairstyles we got right. Tomorrow is what most wait for every season: The big makeover! Like every year, Heidi has prepared a makeover for the girls, where most of the tears flow. So it’s already bye bye for Claudia, Milena, Chaline and Kimberly.

Preview 3rd episode – Who gets to go to LA ?!

Episode 3 and the girls have to prove that they can keep their nerves despite dizzying heights. The shooting is themed “Hang Lose”, because the girls have to pose in elaborate evening gowns on a large box that hangs eight meters above the ground on the ship’s crane of the MS Astoria. Keeping their nerves and staying focused despite gusts of wind will be a challenge for some. For the decision walk, the two team leaders Thomas Hayo and Michael Michalski have requested support. Nikeata Thompson coaches Team White and Mac Folkes coaches Team Black. This episode is especially special: Whoever can convince at the decision walk gets to fly to LA to the famous model villa! No less than 4 top models have to leave after the shoot! Episode #2

For the second time the jury around Heidi Klum, Thomas Hayo and star designer Michael Michalsky meets with the models of this year’s season. For the new top models the first exams were on the agenda and four GNTM candidates have to go! At the live photo shoot they just couldn’t convince on the surfboard. So it’s already bye bye for Elisa, Saskia, Christina and Elisa. What will happen in episode 3?

Preview 2nd episode – What awaits the girls on the high seas ?

The MS Astoria departs from Marseille and a paddle shoot in a bay awaits the girls right at the first stop off Mallorca. Star photographer Max Montgomery is the first to work with the model chicks. Also Heidi says : ,, This is the first shooting for the girls. This is of course super exciting and also not so easy. “The icy temperatures of the water and the skimpy bikini outfits add to the difficulty. But that was not all for the first week. A photo challenge awaits the 28 candidates and a very special prize awaits the winner. Whoever manages to put themselves in the best light on the upper deck of the MS Astoria gets to move into a luxury room with a sea view. The remaining girls have to share the rooms on the lowest deck in a very confined space. The first decision walk of the 12th season also takes place on the deck of the ship. The girls walk with long haute couture dresses made of neoprene fabric in front of the jury and two girls already have to say goodbye. Has the winner already been chosen ?

On February 8th 2017 the annual Amfar Gala took place in New York City. Heidi Klum was like every year a welcome guest and brought also this time two lucky candidates of the 12th season to the event. This year Leticia and Lynn made it and were chosen to spend an unforgettable evening with Heidi. But does this event mean more than it first seems? We did some research and not only was the last GNTM winner Kim Hnizdo also there with Heidi, but Lovelyn Enebechi – winner of GNTM in 2013 and Luisa Hartema, the winner from 2012 were also chosen by Heidi to accompany her to the event. So these two contestants seem to have the perfect qualifications and a great chance to win! Whether this will be the free ticket to the final and maybe the title, can only be guessed so far.

Heidi has organized a big catwalk there for the Top 31, where the girls have to present their favorite outfits. From Black Swan costumes, as worn by contestant Helena, to summer dresses, everything will be on display. But who can convince the jury with their fashion taste? GNTM 2017 contestants: The new top models

This year, at the beginning of the new season, 31 candidates are fighting for the victory, the cover and the model contract for the Topmodel 2017. We have already taken a close look at each of the participants to assess who of them has the greatest chance to become the winner. What’s new on GNTN 2017: Jury & Coaches

This season there are a lot of changes on the casting show! For the first time, both teams have their own coach who is only there for Team Black or Team White. For Michael Michalsky the dancer and power woman Nikeata Thompson will be there to make his girls fit on the catwalk. On Team Hayo, Mac Folkes will be there. The catwalk coach will get Team Black in shape.

But the most surprising change is a rule change. This means that the girls can not only fly out as usual at the decision walk, but at any time. This means full concentration for the girls, because missteps are now regretted faster than they think.

The GNTM season officially starts on February 9th but there is actually a possibility to see the first episode before! For the biggest Topmodel fans the first episode will be shown on February 6th in the Berlin cinema ‘Astor Film Lounge’. To get tickets for the event you just have to write a mail to Pro Sieben. But be quick! The tickets will be assigned after receipt in the inbox and are only limited available.

New coach for the 12th season GNTM

In addition to new coaches like Nikeata Thompson and Mac Folkes, there will be a surprise from Germany this year. According to the Bild-Zeitung, the German top model Lars Burmeister will give the girls useful tips. The 32-year-old has already shot campaigns for Louis Vuitton, Versace and Dolce & Gabbana and has been featured in magazines like Vogue and V Man. The model has achieved almost everything a male model dreams of in the 9 years of his career. With so much experience and the looks, he brings everything to make not only the contestants sweat. We remain curious to see what role he will actually take on in the casting show.

The Come Back – Wolfgang Joop is at it again

After two years alongside Heidi Klum and Thomas Hayo, Wolfgang Joop became a viewer favorite as a jury member. The models also became close friends with him. Last year, however, he was replaced by Michael Michalski. This year, model mum Heidi didn’t choose between the two, but directly included both of them in the jury. For the first time in 12 years the jury consists of 4 jurors.
