Franziska’s passion: horseback riding

In this interview with our magazine, we talked to Franziska about riding and mental health. We went with her to the beginnings of her riding career and asked her how she discovered riding for herself and what meaning it has for her today. She also tells us where she buys her riding clothes. Franziska loves spending time with her horse the most, which is why she can be found in the stable every day. She tells us what her daily routine is like there and which must-haves always have to be there. She also talks to us about her Borderline diagnosis and how she deals with it. Beginnings: First riding lesson at age 11

FIV: Hello dear Franziska, we are glad that it worked out with the interview today. We are happy to start now. First of all, we would like to talk about your passion for riding and its beginnings. How did you discover riding for yourself?

Franziska: When I was 11 years old, my mother came home from work one day and said that one of her customers was raving about horseback riding. She then arranged a riding lesson for herself, my sister and me. That was when I sat on a horse for the first time and it was incredibly fun.

“Riding is a kind of therapy”

FIV: How nice! In addition, riding also plays a big role on your social media channels. There, your followers can see that your horses bring a smile to your face. What do you personally associate with riding?

Franziska: For me, horses are a kind of therapy. I associate it with peace and quiet, but at the same time with adrenaline, love for the animals and feelings of happiness. There is hardly any other activity where you are so focused on the animal moving underneath you that you don’t have the chance to think about the rest of the world. It’s a great opportunity to switch off and develop together with a living creature and even achieve athletic goals if necessary. This gives me an incredible amount of joy! In addition, riding is much more strenuous than it looks from the outside and keeps me fit in everyday life.

Riding clothes: Riders Deal, Loesdau, …

FIV: It’s really great to hear what’s behind riding for you and what you associate with it. Where do you prefer to buy your riding clothes?

Franziska: Very different. I order a lot online at Riders Deal, where there are always the best deals, and in stationary retail we have Loesdau and Krämer nearby. You can find everything you need there. My favorite brands are PS of Sweden, HV Polo, Eskadron and Equestrian Stockholm.

Everyday in the horse stable – The everyday life

FIV: Also, you can be found every day at the barn with your horse Fleur, so we’re interested to know: what does your daily routine at the barn look like?

Franziska: Fleur always gets an apple, a carrot or a banana from me as a welcome. Then we usually go grazing or for a walk – if the pastures are open, I often put her out again. In the morning she comes with the guide service already on’s paddock or if necessary on the meadow. Then I always take a lot of time to groom her and get her ready for riding or lunging – all accompanied by numerous cuddles, of course. After training I am busy with cleaning up, cleaning hooves & horse & preparing food for the next day. After Fleur has eaten, she is allowed to go out again and just be a horse for a bit or play with her best friend. In between I like to walk Hazel in the woods a bit or help stablemates with taking care of their horses. Sometimes I also ride other horses to learn more about riding myself. Fleur is still very young and I want to become a better rider for her.

Must haves in the stable: dog

FIV: What are your must-haves that always have to go with you when you go to the barn?

Franziska: My dog – if you can call that a must have! Otherwise, I have most things stored in my locker at the stable: cell phone charging cables, dog snacks, warm clothes, outfits for Fleur and everything you need for the care of the horse. My cell phone – although I hardly have reception at the stable – is also always with me to capture special moments for my community.

Mental Health & Diagnosis Borderline

FIV: Now we would like to talk to you about Mental Health. When you were 15 years old, you were diagnosed with borderline. How did you deal with the situation?

Franziska: Note: In the clinic they said I was “developing” BPD – diagnoses are actually only allowed after 21, but the signs were clear. The diagnosis itself did not change much, I was rather glad that it all had a name and was not normal. Otherwise I would have had little hope for a happy life in the future. I went to inpatient and outpatient therapy and always tried to work on myself.

Franziska’s tips regarding Mental Health

FIV: Do you have any tips for our readers on how to improve their own mental health?

Franziska: Do things that make you happy and think long-term. The (short-term) easy way is not always the better way. I have always listened to my heart instead of the voices of reason around me and that has personally led to the best decisions of my life. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have a horse, started my own business, or let a small dog into my life as a college student. I always ask myself: does it make ME happy, or the people around me? At the end of the day, it’s just me alone with myself and having to live with my choices. Not the others. Otherwise, I can only suggest to everyone: Go horseback riding! That is the best therapy for me.

Own book: “What you do not see”.

FIV: Your book “What You Don’t See” will be published in January. Would you like to explain to our readers what your book is about?

Franziska: “What you don’t see” is a non-fiction book about borderline personality disorder and tells my story from birth. So it’s also an autobiography, so to speak. I have suffered many setbacks and had little support in life. Yet here I am, answering these very interview questions. With my book I want to encourage those affected, open the eyes of relatives and offer an exciting, true and above all honest story to all those who actively follow me. I think we have succeeded in doing that!

“What I have experienced, no one believes me”.

FIV: What inspired you to write your own book?

Franziska: In fact, I’ve often thought “no one believes everything I’ve experienced. Or “the whole world should actually know that. The desire to share my story with people had been growing for some time, and when my publisher approached me with the request for this non-fiction book, I didn’t have to think twice. The people inspired me, the therapy, the experiences and in short: life.

Everyday life as a content creator

In this interview Caro talks to us about the foundation of her own brand Ninety-9, which she built up together with her father. FIV: Hello dear Caro, how nice that it worked out with the interview today! Let’s start with the first question. Two years ago you founded your own brand Ninety-9 with your father. Would you like to tell us about your experience of starting your own business at such a young age?

Caro: It’s still a challenge every day. I couldn’t have done it all without my father. It’s important and great to have someone at your side who already has experience when it comes to starting a business. Every day there are different tasks and hurdles that come up and that we have to overcome and master together. Together, we can always look for a suitable solution and then implement it accordingly.

FIV: It’s always good when you’re not alone in such situations. What is your personal favorite Ninety-9 piece?

Caro: Definitely our bikinis and something that is now launching: our signature tops and dresses with super soft fabric and very everyday cuts.

Every day is always different

FIV: Besides your brand, you have many projects going on at the same time like social media, your podcast with Sonny Loops and a lot more. So you always have a lot going on, what does a typical day look like for you?

Caro: I get up at just before 7 and get ready for sports at 8. After that I go home again, shower and get ready for the day and then the first daily call starts. Then I go out with Skei and feed her afterwards. I make my to do lists every day and look at what’s coming up for the day, like collaborations, YouTube videos or TikToks and whether I’m working from home or going to the office. I then work through this list throughout the day. But you can say that every day is actually always different. In the evening, I like to end the day with my boyfriend on the couch, we order food or cook something and watch a series.

Own discipline: To Do lists & goals

FIV: Many projects require a lot of discipline. Do you have any tips for our readers on how to increase their own discipline?

Caro: Create to-do lists and set realistic goals. Because when you have achieved this goal, even if it is only a small thing or an intermediate goal, this triggers happiness hormones and motivates for the next day and the next goal. You can also write yourself little notes with reminders for everyday life and hang them up in the bathroom, for example, and regularly remind yourself of this positive energy.

Pussy talk together with Sonny Loops

FIV: As mentioned before, you have your podcast together with Sonny Loops and since you just have so many projects, we would be interested to know what inspired you to record your own podcast back then?

Caro: I wanted to do a podcast for quite a long time before Pussytalk, but I never really knew how to start and was pretty busy with other projects at the same time. Then Sonny approached me with the idea of a joint podcast and that’s how the whole thing came about. We can share the work so well.

Louis Vuitton Vintage Bag

FIV: You recently bought a new dream bag from Hermès. Is there another bag you’re dying to get at some point?

Caro: I am currently super happy with my bag collection. On my list is still a Louis Vuitton vintage bag, because I also like to buy very second hand. Here I am already longer on the search, because the model is no longer produced and the price and the condition should of course also fit.

Caro’s greatest success: Ninety-9

FIV: For you personally, what has been your biggest success in your social media career so far?

Caro: The biggest success was, among other things, Ninety9 and that I was able to make this project big together with my dad or launch it at all. Another milestone and dream was the invitation from Dior to the South of France.

FIV: If you could meet your former self, what would you want to say to yourself?

Caro: Always listen to your gut feeling and trust your inner voice. You know the right way and should follow it.

How long does an SEO text have to be?

Who creates his first SEO text, often faces the question, how many words must have a good text? The word count cannot be defined exactly and across the board. Depending on how big the competition is and what content they have produced so far in their search engine optimization, your texts must adapt flexibly.

SEO text optimization with Xovi (Sistrix, etc.)

So far you have learned a lot, the basic structure of SEO texts, the right word count for your texts but also the use of Google.de as a free market analysis tool.

Once you have reached a certain size or are already aiming for a certain size in advance, it is also worth taking a look at keyword analysis software. This includes, for example, providers such as Xovi and Sistrix. In the video example you will get to know the software Xovi and the keyword analysis of the software.

The keyword analysis takes a look at the search queries of google.de in the past 30 days. So you can see in which quantities, which search queries were made. This allows you to estimate which keyboard or which keyboard combination is retrieved most often. Accordingly, you can strategically align your SEO planning.

PS: I don’t use any single paid software! My tip: Google Search, Google Search Results (search bar, suggested keywords) + Keyword Shitter.

As you can imagine, it’s usually worth tackling the big keywords. After all, this is where the big money lies in the end. However, if you have a small company or a young start-up, so-called longtails are worthwhile. Longtails are the strings of words.

An exact, precise keyword would be “real estate agent” and a possible longtail “condominium sell real estate agent Hamburg”. It is usually easier to achieve high rankings in the long tail because there is less competition here.

Spider Web Structure: Great SEO Pages

Spider web structure is a synonym for working in multiple layers. In this explainer video, you’ll learn how to strategically plan a major SEO project. Simply put, it’s about building a strong home page. In the next step you need level 2, the most important keywords. If you were a fashion online store, then your home page would be optimized for “fashion online store”, the second level would be fashion brands such as Givenchy, Prada or as in the example Louis Vuitton.

In level 3 you were then more satellite pages on, for your second level. This would be e.g. “Louis Vuitton fashion show”, “Louis Vuitton bag” or “Louis Vuitton store”.

Of course, you could continue after this level, e.g. you could optimize Louis Vuitton bags and serve individual models with additional articles. So you could also strengthen your third level, the “Louis Vuitton bag” through its subordinate satellite pages.

So you build up your SEO construct piece by piece and like a spider web it expands in different directions.

Satellite pages: Supporter for your keywords

In the last video you learned how to build your own SEO structure, the so-called spider web. In this video you will learn how to build subordinate satellite pages. In this video you will learn the basics. In the SEO Masterclass you will find many trainings, e.g. on job traffic, car tax, travel reports, much more.

Satellite pages support the respective higher level through content and links. If you have a large article on the topic of “Louis Vuitton”, for example, you can increase its ranking through a larger number of subordinate articles. All pages are linked to each other. The superordinate pages refer to the respective subordinate pages, as long as there are not more than 20,30. All subordinate pages link to their parent page.

This increases the content flow, which means the number of pages that a visitor looks at on average, but also the dwell time, which means the time that a user spends on your online project. The higher these key figures are, the better your page will be in PageRank. So it rises in the ranking.
