There was a crackle on “Let’s Dance” in 2012. Rebecca as a celebrity contestant, Massimo Sinató as her dance partner. “We were already sizzling during Let’s Dance,” Massimo later revealed. Flirtation turned into love – despite obstacles at the time. In August 2012, they made their relationship public.

Wedding & family happiness: A couple with history

They married in Sicily in 2015 and their first son was born in 2021. Since then, Rebecca has shown herself to be a loving mother – approachable but never too private. Her family life remains protected but honest. The two are still considered one of the most likeable celebrity couples in Germany.

From Aachen into the media world

Rebecca was born in Aachen on December 23, 1991. Her mother is German and her father is from Afghanistan. She dreamed of modeling from a young age – she even trained as a model alongside school. She left secondary school to take part in GNTM – but later wanted to catch up on her A-levels.

Rebecca is considered ambitious and disciplined – even in everyday life. She works out regularly, dances standard with Massimo and loves exercise. “Squats are my secret tip,” she revealed in an interview with Cosmopolitan. So it’s no wonder that she’s still in top form years after GNTM.

Philipp Plein’s story: founding the company

Fashion designer Philipp Plein was born in Munich on February 16, 1978. Alongside the legend Karl Lagerfeld, he is one of the most successful and well-known designers in Germany and it is hard to imagine the fashion industry without him. He has definitely made a name for himself with his unusual pieces, and his pieces are recognizable at first glance!

In 1998, he founded his company International AG, which is now based in Switzerland. Before that, Plein studied law, but he didn’t seem to want to do that in the long term! He started designing furniture and then bags and accessories. In 2003, he was given the opportunity to design the lounge for Moet & Chandon at the German CPD trade fair in Düsseldorf. There he took his chance and sold his accessories, which he designed from old leather, for the first time.

Shortly afterwards, he founded his fashion brand. Since 2004, he has been known for his extravagant, rocking “bling bling fashion”. Almost all of his garments feature skulls and plenty of rhinestones. In addition to his main fashion brand, which bears his name, his agency now includes Plein Sport and Billionaire. The brands cater to both men and women as well as the juniors among us. Billionaire is the only brand among them that focuses exclusively on men’s fashion. Philipp Plein: As conceited as they always say?

He is known for his many tattoos, his well-trained body and his swanky watch! But is that all he has to offer?

Plein has always been a “dreamer”: he always wanted to aim high and realize his dreams – that was and is his greatest motivation. Many interpret his single-minded attitude as arrogance. Plein explains what you should bear in mind with his “strategy”:

“You always have to be able to dream new dreams. I always try to achieve one dream after another. But I know that dreams are never as beautiful in reality as they are in fantasy. Once you understand that, you can deal with it well.”

Battle for son Romeo Prince: reunion after four years

Philipp Plein spent four years fighting for his little son Romeo Prince, who is now seven years old. The child’s mother (Fernanda Rigon) took him to her home country of Brazil in 2014 to keep him away from his father. Plein fought against her with numerous lawyers – to no avail! He only wanted his son to experience one thing: a mother and father who could look after him and give him a stable family life. After four years, this battle finally seems to be over and he can finally hold his son in his arms again!

Girlfriend Lucia Bartoli is always by his side everywhere he goes: whether in Cannes, Lugano or New York – there are three places he calls home! Ever since he finally introduced her to the public, she has never left his side! In an interview, when asked what she does for a living, Lucia replies that she is a “full-time girlfriend”! Lucia adores her designer boyfriend and says she misses him when they are apart. In an interview with RTL, the two claim that their “love secret” is that they are stuck together and it’s funny when they are apart – if that’s not an unusual attitude!

Fashion designer Tom Ford is shaping an exciting success story. As a former art student, today’s successful man paved his way to becoming a designer for Gucci and YSL, until he founded his own brand in 2005. We introduce you to Ford’s inspiring career as a famous fashion designer and director.

Youth & Education

Tom Ford was born in Austin, Texas in 1961. In the course of his youth, Ford tried out many courses of study, including art history and art, which, however, did not make him happy. Even at a young age, the 59-year-old was interested in fashion. Thus, in his early 20s, Ford applied for internships with well-known designers, eventually landing a much-coveted internship with fashion label Chloé. During this time, he moved to Los Angeles where, in addition to many internships, he also took on modeling jobs, mostly for television commercials.

However, Tom Ford was determined to have a degree, so after his time in LA he decided to study architecture at Parsons School of Design in New York. He completed a year abroad at the French partner university in 1984 and 1985. Since Fort had discovered his passion for fashion, he took all his electives in fashion design. In 1986, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in architecture and interior design.

Marc Jacobs, Chloé, Gucci & YSL

For Tom Ford, designer Calvin Klein has always been a great role model. After his internship at Chloé, Fort was sure: he also wanted to enter the fashion industry to become a designer. After graduating from Parsons, he applied to Calvin Klein several times but was not hired. He had luck with the Korean designer Cathy Hardwick, where he worked for her in New York as a design assistant. Ford landed a second success in 1988 with Marc Jacobs, who hired him as a designer for the Perry Ellis jeans line.

But how did Tom Ford get his job as creative director at luxury brand Gucci? Ford was recruited 12 years after working at Marc Jacobs, by former Bergdorf Goodman chief buyer Dawn Mello to work for Gucci as a designer in Milan. The young designer accepted the job offer and moved to Milan.

Since Ford did his job as a designer at fashion label Gucci very well, he was appointed design director in 1992. Two years later, he was appointed creative director. In 2000, Gucci and fashion brand Yves Saint Laurent merged. Ford took on the role of women’s prêt-à-porter designer at YSL in Paris, in addition to his post at Gucci.

Emergence of the designer brand Tom Ford

In April 2005, Ford announced the creation of the Tom Ford brand. Domenico De Sole, who was former president and CEO of Gucci Group, joined Fort. In the same year, the designer announced that he would collaborate with the Markolin Group to manufacture and sell eyeglass frames and sunglasses. He also formed an alliance with Estée Lauder to co-create the Tom Ford beauty brand. In 2007, his first flagship store opened at 845 Madison Avenue in New York. The opening ceremony coincided with the debut of Tom Ford’s men’s and accessories collection. The long-awaited showcase of the womenswear collection took place in September 2010. Since then, the Tom Fort brand has enjoyed a strong reputation, with quality and elegance combining to create a luxury fashion label. With his previous experience at Gucci, YSL and Marc Jacobs, the designer had the perfect prerequisites to start his own brand.

From fashion designer to film director

In 2009, the designer created the film “A Single Man”. Many then wondered why Ford suddenly became a director instead of just focusing on the fashion business. What many didn’t know, however, was that Tom Ford sees himself as a designer whose true artistic side lives from filmmaking. Doubts about his film career were finally laid to rest when it became known that the designer was making his directorial debut for the famous actors Colin Firth and Julianne Moore. Seven years later, Ford released “Nocturnal Animals,” his long-awaited second film. Starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Amy Adams, the designer once again created a highly acclaimed film, which even earned him a Golden Globe nomination for his direction.

Family & Spouse

The now 59-year-old designer, has lived with Richard Buckley since 1987. Buckley, former editor-in-chief of Vogue Hommes International, met Ford at a fashion show in 1986. At the time, Richard Buckley was living in Paris but moved to Italy to join Ford as he was suffering from cancer. The editor-in-chief gave up his job at Vogue as the commute became u exhausting for him with his illness.

Tom and Richard became parents for the first time in 2012. Together they gave birth to their son Alexander John Buckley Ford in Los Angeles. Two years later, the couple decided to get married. Now the fashion designer lives with his family alternately in Los Angeles, London and New York.

Designer Tom Ford covers almost all areas with his fashion brand. From bags, fashion for men and women, eyewear and fragrances to beauty products: At Tom Ford you will find everything! For every season Ford designs a new collection, which includes jackets, pants, tops and many other garments. The brand is one of the high-priced fashion companies next to Gucci & Co. Since many garments are exclusive, they have to be requested. The prices can be compared with other companies like Chanel or Prada. There is no specific target group of the fashion label, the spectrum of buyers ranges from young to old.

In December, her son Riley was born. Since the baby break Jourdan starts 2010 again properly through. She is the new face of Burberry and in 2012 she makes her debut as a Victoria’s Secret Angel. She also launches her own children’s fashion line and opens her own cooking show on YouTube. Lifestyle of the Hummels family

Cathy was born in Dachau, near Munich, in 1988. While she was still dancing as a cheerleader at school, she met Mats Hummels in 2007. When her friend Mats continues his football career with FC Bayern Munich at Borussia Dortmund, Cathy moves with him and studies business administration at the TU Dortmund. She graduated with a grade of 2.3. The wedding bells are ringing in 2015. After a romantic Dubai vacation and engagement Cathy Fischer becomes Cathy Hummels and in the luxury hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich is celebrated despite rain properly! Private happiness will be perfect in January 2018 when their son Ludwig is born. Even before Cathy met the famous footballer, the 19-year-old was not exactly inconspicuous. In April 2007 she was elected “Miss FC Bayern”. Despite her reputation as a player’s wife, Cathy Hummels tries to advance her own career in the media world. In 2013 she works as a columnist for Closer magazine. She visits Berlin’s Fashion Week as a reporter for the Prosieben show Red. Shortly after, she gets a permanent place as a presenter at Sky Sport with her own lifestyle program: Cathy on the road. Cathy is not only professionally successful, but also privately she tries to get everything under one hat. Despite constant work, she can organize yoga, marriage, child and grandparents well. In 2013 she was voted the most popular player woman by the magazine “Closer”. During the World Cup, however, the tide turns and Cathy has to struggle more and more with criticism from fans and media. After that, too, Cathy Hummels comes to her long-awaited marriage proposal in Dubai.

Social Media – Hater, criticism and negative vibes

On Instagram, Cathy takes her fans a lot with her. A picture that does not appeal to the fans will not be deleted immediately, as is the case with many other people in the public eye, but will remain on their Instagram account. Again and again criticism came up on the side of her fans that Cathy revealed private things on Instagram by posting to revealing pictures or writing about her period in public.  As a gambler’s wife, you also have to have a thick coat. Instagram users don’t just use their profile to give their opinion on Cathy’s pictures, they also like to criticize her husband Matts Hummels way of playing. Despite constant criticism from her followers, Cathy continues to post as a strong woman and does not let herself be diverted from her life on Instagram. Hummels – Shoe brand

At the moment there is also a lot to read about Cathy. The 30-year-old has launched a shoe brand called “Hummels”.  Small bumble bees are printed on the shoes and a writing with their surname is legible. Cathy herself says she likes the bumblebee, the animal, very much and doesn’t want to switch to another name not only because of the design, but also for this reason. There is even a small Hummel brooch attached to some of their models. There is everything from open shoes with ribbons to closed shoes with brooches. To their regret, the whole thing didn’t go off without problems. The brand name resembles too much the already existing shoe brand “Hummel”. It was clear to Cathy from the beginning that she wouldn’t let herself get away with it. The young mom’s lawyer stressed: “The use of her family name cannot be forbidden even by the Hummel company of our client.” Cathy himself spoke on this subject about Instagram. “My name belongs to me like clouds in the sky.” The ambitious woman is once again showing herself strong.

News – Trial in Munich: Advertising on Instagram – Judgement

Advertising on Instagram must be marked. This is what the current legislation provides for. But many ask themselves the question, when does a posting have to be marked at all? Today, a landmark judgement for many “influencers” was pronounced at Munich District Court. The case concerns Cathy Hummels, wife of the famous football player Mats Hummels, entrepreneur and celebrity. Through her public life she has collected many followers on Instagram. If it recommends and posts brands on Instagram, it would have to mark them as “advertising” according to current legal regulations. In 15 cases (photos), however, she is not said to have done so, which is exactly what is complained of by a “warning association” (according to taz).
