Jil Eileen: Her life traveling around the world

FIV: As can be seen in your Instagram feed, you have already seen and traveled to many countries. Which of these destinations have been your favorite so far?

Jil: Phew that’s a very difficult question, I’ve already traveled to 63 countries and each one had something special in its own way. I couldn’t decide where I liked it best, I would go to every country I’ve been to again.

FIV: On social media and on your website, you talk almost exclusively about travel. How did you develop this passion? What excites you most about traveling?

Jil: I’ve always been very adventurous and loved getting to know new places, cultures and people. In 2018, I quit my job and set off alone with a backpack to travel the world. Even before that, I had always planned my days off and vacations so that I could travel as much as possible, but once I had traveled full-time, I was hooked. What excites me most about traveling is discovering new places, feeling the freedom and being myself.

Happiness is the only thing that doubles when you share it, so why not share what makes me happy with you!

FIV: You are only 26 years old and still very young. How do you finance your many trips? How frugal are you and do you have any tips for our readers on how to travel the world cheaply?

Jil: I saved well in advance for my year solo trip around the world, I had 3-4 jobs at the same time and was really hard-working. So I was always able to put a lot of money aside. It’s very important to always keep in mind that ‘every little helps’. This applies to saving and spending. Before you save nothing, save at least something. Then it may take longer to reach your target amount, but you will still reach your goal. And when it comes to spending, it’s the other way around, if I think ‘oh, that’s only €5’ for every little thing, then that can be quite a lot at the end of a trip. I always write down every € I spend on my trips to get an idea of how much the trip has cost me so far. If I’ve budgeted well then I can treat myself to something, if I haven’t budgeted well then I can just eat oatmeal for 3 days I’m now self-employed and can live off my travel blog and online store, instead of working hard and saving up in advance I now travel and work in the meantime.

A day with Jil: adventure or relaxation? Mountains or pool?

FIV: What does a perfect day on vacation look like for you? Are you more of an active person or do you prefer to take it slower? Chilling by the pool or climbing in the mountains? What type of vacation are you?

Jil: I am the active traveler, I love hiking, climbing in the mountains, surfing at the sea & have so many ‘bumblebees in my butt’ that I always want to do something. Of course I also like to lie by the pool or the sea, but that tends to happen between activities.

FIV: What has been your most exciting experience on your travels so far? Was there ever a particularly exciting event or did you perhaps undertake an unusual activity? Paragliding, bungee jumping or something like that?

Jil: I have experienced a lot when traveling but the first activity that comes to my mind is a hike in Hawaii. The Olomana Trail, also called ‘Three Peaks’. A very dangerous hike that gave you an absolute adrenaline rush and was just so much fun, even though you were pushed to your limits.

Germany tour: route, tips & what the country has to offer

FIV: A few months ago, you and your boyfriend went on a tour through Germany. How did you come up with this idea and how did you plan the tour? Was there a fixed route or did you set off spontaneously?

Jil: We’ve already seen so much of the world but not yet our own country. We wanted to change that, so we did a lot of research and looked at everything Germany has to offer. We thought about a route in advance and then drove to the places we had picked out. I sometimes went with my boyfriend, but sometimes with friends too.

FIV: Tell us something about this tour. Which destinations did you head for and which sights did you want to visit? Would you have thought that Germany has such beautiful places to offer?

Jil: I have to admit, I underestimated Germany! I never thought I would see such amazing places in my own country. We went hiking on the Moselle, in the Black Forest and in the Palatinate Forest, we discovered stand-up paddle boarding on Lake Constance, we went swimming in the lake at Eibsee in Bavaria and we couldn’t stop being amazed in Saxon Switzerland. At the age of 25, I made it to the German seaside for the first time

FIV: As you can see in your Instagram feed, you went camping and slept together in the car. What was it like for you to live in such a small space? Would you do it again and recommend it to others?

Jil: It wasn’t a problem for me, you just get to know each other better and bond more. We furnished our car a bit with a topper on which we slept, hung curtains on the windows to darken it a bit and have privacy, and decorated it a bit comfortably. Apart from that, we of course had a gas stove and everything we needed for camping In the beginning or to get out spontaneously, the car is the perfect alternative. In the meantime, we have converted a van, moved in and are traveling through Europe.

Insider tips & goals for the future

FIV: Where was the best place? Do you have an absolute insider tip for us? A special place, a sight or perhaps even a secret route?

Jil: I liked Saxon Switzerland best, the landscape there is really breathtaking and you can go hiking for days and always see something new

FIV: What is your absolute dream destination for the future? You’ve already seen a lot of the world. Is there still a country or perhaps even a specific place that you dream of visiting at some point?

Jil: There’s a lot to be honest, but Namibia, the Philippines, Peru and Sweden are at the top of my list.

FIV: Feli, you have your own fashion brand “felicious” – how cool! Tell me, when did you found it and what exactly is behind it?

Feli: I actually just started “felicious” this year. However, I have been thinking about starting my own brand for a long time. This idea came to me when I was 12 or 13 years old, during my first experiences in social media. Even then I had the desire to create my own pieces and the idea has now accompanied me throughout the years and became more and more present.

After my high school graduation, I finally decided to turn this dream into reality step by step. Since January this year, my first collection is now available. Nevertheless, many more exciting projects are waiting in the wings. At the moment my collection is limited to jogging suits, which perfectly fit my style and which I personally love. Nevertheless, I have big plans for the future that go far beyond jogging suits.

What is behind the successful podcast “life is felicious”?

FIV: You even have your own podcast – “life is felicious”! What was the inspiration behind it and what topics do you discuss there?

Feli: I started using my social media platforms for more serious topics quite early on. Originally, I created a video format on TikTok called “Tips from your big sister Feli.” In these clips, I held a small microphone and talked about aspects such as mental health, body image, insecurities, and the like. Although the clips were very short, they were tremendously well received, indicating the interest and importance. I’m particularly attracted to the opportunity to go beyond the boundaries of conventional beauty and styling tips on social media and address truly “meaningful” topics. It’s important to me to give people the feeling that they are not alone with their challenges.

I want to show that even I, who in some ways is portrayed as supposedly “perfect” in the social media bubble, struggle with and address issues. In my podcast, I talk about diverse topics such as increasing self-esteem, building self-confidence, the difficulties of living in the moment in the age of constant smartphone use, and how to stop comparing yourself to others on social media. These topics are especially relevant to teens and young women. My inspiration ultimately came from my own experience writing my TikTok series at the time.

Inspiring content infused with unique authenticity

FIV: Your content is super diverse and inspiring. How do you manage to stay creative, come up with fresh ideas and not miss any trends and developments on social media?

Feli: Oh, thank you very much. It’s actually the case that I don’t really follow trends very closely. Since I’ve been particularly active on platforms like TikTok, I’ve sort of created my own individual DNA. Trends are often associated with specific sounds. Since I speak in most of my TikToks, I’ve settled on some recurring video formats. Of course, I do take trends like “Get Ready With Me” or even specific songs for my content.

Nevertheless, I always try to interpret these trends in my personal way and not to be guided exclusively by external developments. An example of this is advice or vlogs from my life. Ultimately, I would say that my inspiration comes from my own life. Many people appreciate it when I let them participate in my everyday life and give private insights.

FIV: With 3.9 million followers on TikTok and 1.4 million on Instagram, you obviously reach and inspire an enormous amount of people. What message(s) do you want to convey to your community and how do you want to positively impact their quality of life?

Feli: I try to show my community that they should not compare themselves with other people on social media or in general. That’s why it’s important to me to remain as authentic as possible and to present things as they really are. For example, most recently I posted a video in my apartment: in the video everything looks supposedly perfect, super aesthetically pleasing with lots of pink details, a yoga routine, etc.

The video, however, didn’t really reflect my daily life; it wasn’t an actual representation of my daily routine and that’s exactly what I tell my followers. I think it’s so important to share information like that. Because often they think that I actually get up at a certain time, do yoga and it always looks so perfect at my house and then put pressure on themselves.

I also share pictures where I’m not particularly elaborately styled. I always think that there is little point in pretending to be me on social media. It seems pointless to me to portray myself as someone I’m not at all. That’s exactly the message I want to send: “Hey, this is really me. I often don’t look perfect either and I have my own challenges.”

Beauty ideals & perfectionism on social media

FIV: That sounds super authentic! As we all know, social media can lead to an unrealistic image of perfection. How do you deal with this yourself and how do you encourage your followers to stay true to themselves?

Feli: That’s basically what I tried to point out in the previous question and a topic that I also adressed in my first live show. Personally, I have less and less difficulty comparing myself to other people or emulating an unrealistic beauty ideal. That’s a message I always convey to my followers: someone else’s beauty doesn’t take away from your own.

This realization helps me to deal with it myself. I know that this feeling is familiar to many. As the saying goes: a sorrow shared is a sorrow halved. It’s comforting to know that everyone feels this way at times. In fact, even those who are considered beautiful tend to compare themselves to others. It’s a never-ending cycle. Especially on social media, only a fraction, a few minutes of their entire day is shown, only small snippets of their positive experiences and successes. There is so much more going on behind the scenes that we will never know about. We only see the perfect surface. I try to make my followers aware of this and bring them closer to this perspective.

Feli’s personal student calendar: “Take it easy”!

FIV: You published your own student calendar this year which was even among the Amazon bestsellers! Congratulations! What were your thoughts and the concept behind it?

Feli: I graduated from high school last year. Especially during my high school years, I felt a lot of pressure to perform. That’s why I found the idea of creating a student calendar particularly fitting. The idea behind it was to create this calendar for those who are going through similar experiences and should try to alleviate the pressure a bit.

The calendar bears the motto “Take it easy” and is intended to illustrate the idea of not stressing yourself out unduly. School grades and achievements do not show the whole picture and a person’s intelligence can by no means be measured by their grades alone. The calendar contains motivational sayings and offers variety, such as Halloween costume ideas or similar content. It is simply intended to bring joy and fun into everyday school life.

Future outlook: Exciting projects & lots of anticipation

FIV: Can you tell us if you have any other exciting projects planned in the near future that you are looking forward to? Be it with your brand, the podcast or maybe even something completely new?

Feli: I’m super happy that this year is the most eventful year for me so far. There are so many exciting projects that are already in the planning stages, including some that you probably won’t hear about for a few years. Right now, though, we’re in the planning stages of a podcast tour. I don’t want to make any firm commitments here yet, but after my show’s successful kick-off event, we’re thinking about doing a tour. The idea is to travel to different cities and present the podcast live in front of an audience.

As for “felicious”, I am planning a fall-winter collection for this year. This collection will be my first to go beyond the previous jogging suits. It will include stylish pieces such as pants, crop tops ‘. I can’t reveal too much yet, but the collection will definitely go in the direction of streetwear style, which I would like to pursue. So there’s a lot happening and I’m looking forward to the future with anticipation.

FIV: In our eyes, you are a real doer – constantly fulfilling dreams and achieving goals. What would you say are essential aspects that contribute to this “doer mentality” and how can I embrace them?

Tim: First of all, thank you for the kind words! I have always been someone who does not let chances and opportunities lie. No matter how small it still is. So in my life I have gained the mentality to keep my curiosity and just take away from past experiences that these small opportunities give me a huge added value. Trying bread baking and getting better every time, that now I can make the best bread for ourselves in the shortest time. Or handicraft things, getting to grips with something and now I can fix all the problems myself without having to rely on others. That encourages you not to stop at any challenge, no matter how big it may be.

Finding an optimal work-life balance: Routines & Milestones

FIV: How important is discipline and structure for you – is every day always planned out or do you just let yourself drift? – How do you manage to find a healthy work-life balance and avoid overwork?

Tim: The balance and especially the routine is the key. My day starts at 6 a.m. with my workouts, which give me a perfect start to the day. Extreme order and not leaving any task too long to clear my head for any new challenge. I also try to find fun or enjoyment in any work or effort so it just doesn’t feel like “work” but another mini-milestone completed. I’m passionate about gaming and I often just compare it like quests. Checking off my main quest in my life storyline and doing the exciting side quests every now and then to increase my experience!

Formulate goals: Gather experience & learn from mistakes

FIV: Tell us – How do you go about setting your goal(s) to make sure they are realistic and achievable?

Tim: In the past, I also wasted a lot of time dealing with things that didn’t really get me anywhere. But that’s part of it, so that over time I can evaluate much better what’s important and what’s not. That’s part of becoming a doer, to always become the best version of yourself. You can’t dismiss this process either, because it’s only through experience that you get better and better and so you can define your goals much better.

FIV: How do you deal with setbacks, especially when, despite your best efforts to be productive, you don’t get the results you want at the end of the day?

Tim: Happened very often! Without these setbacks, we would never be where we are today. Learning from mistakes and really internalizing them is the most important thing. Analyzing and reflecting is super important and in the end it’s also fun, because the next time you make a decision you just know what you did wrong before and you can always improve and also be a role model for others or give sound advice.

“Teamwork makes the dream work”: Strong together

FIV: House building, travel planning, van extension, family planning, podcast & co. – How do you manage to tackle so many topics at the same time and not neglect the overview or even the love behind it?

Tim: Quite clearly: teamwork and absolute structure. My wife Ana and I are perfectly synchronized with each other. Especially when it comes to our work, we are now always of one mind and can rely on each other. As I just said, these things are such great life stages and tanks that it’s fun, after a planning, then tackle the implementation and when you look back on what you’ve done, is the pride that always pushes you to tackle new!

FIV: Besides work and me-time, there are of course your friends and family. How do you manage to stick to your goals, work hard and still be there for your loved ones and give them your time?

Tim: My friends and family are absolutely sacred to me. My closest friends I’ve had for many, many years and my overriding credo is, as Drake once said “I been tryna change life around for everyone I know ‘Cause if I don’t share the wealth then how the f*** we supposed to grow?” I always try to grow with my friends and so there is an incredible growing together and so private life is just completely in balance.

Optimization in all areas of life: Tips for success

FIV: Do you have any advice for someone who just doesn’t achieve their goals, even though they work hard and are always disciplined?

Tim: Time is the key word here. Many years went by before we had the right moment. Part of this process is to keep developing and, above all, not to stop at one point. No matter how good you are, there is always room for improvement. No matter if it is the nutrition, contacts you make, chances you take. Sometimes even supposed 1-2 steps back mean 5 steps forward.

Maximize productivity: What apps does Tim use?

FIV: What are some tools and techniques you use to maximize your work time and increase productivity?

Tim: I organize myself completely with my daily apps TickTick and Trello. I use Trello to give my projects a horizon and to mature ideas, and I use TickTick to put plans into action and check them off. The more things left undone, the more stressed I am, so it’s a good day when I’ve been able to check off a lot of boxes!

Accepting help: Allowing others to share in the growth

FIV: Do you find it difficult to hand over tasks or do you like to accept help from others? What is your attitude towards the subject?

Tim: It used to be absolute hell for me. In the meantime, I have learned that there is no other way and that it is incredibly important and also works very well. To give people the chance to grow as well and to make our lives a lot easier, of course, so that the focus can be directed to other things.

Dealing with overwhelm: Tim’s experiences

FIV: Let’s be honest – are you also sometimes overwhelmed?

Tim: The answer here is the same: in the past, yes. Today, I’ve become more hardened through all these years and I’m much better at dealing with stress and, most importantly, being in control of the situation. The doer mentality is a big part of me and helps me to overcome any challenge, no matter how insurmountable, and to go to sleep with a relaxed mind.

Future outlook: New projects at the Johnsons?

FIV: Finally, a little look into the future. Are there any new ideas or projects coming up at the Johnsons that you’d like to share with us?

Tim: Oh yes! We’ve got some incredibly big projects coming up again this year that our communities are waiting for, and on top of that our biggest dream is coming true this year, and that’s to become parents. I’m just more excited than anything to finally become a dad and that will be my absolute biggest task in life, which I take very seriously. I want to become the best dad our child can imagine and there is still a lot to learn and do!

Coach for Mindset, Manifestation & Personality Development

FIV: Hello Tatjana! Maybe you can introduce yourself briefly with your own words, so that our readers can get an impression of you. Who are you and what makes your channel?

Tatjana: Thank you for inviting me to today’s interview. My name is Tatjana, I am 22 years old and have been doing content on social media about mindset, manifestation and personal development for almost 2 years. Meanwhile I am a coach in this field myself and have my own crystal online store.

Grievance box: Always there with tips & advice

FIV: How did you know you were the right person for the job as a personality coach?

Tatjana: I’ve always had that in me. It was actually always part of my passion to help other people, to be there for them and to support them when they had issues in their lives where they didn’t know what to do.

In my circle of friends, I have always been the one who was known for being the grief box for everyone. And helping others or then seeing that things got better thanks to my tips and advice made me happy.

Be happy! Happy life with positive thoughts

FIV: How important do you think it is to take care of your mental health and what role do positive thoughts play in that?

Tatjana: That has become one of my highest priorities. I deal with these topics so intensively that I know that the mindset is the origin of pretty much everything in one’s own life. When I started to deal with this, I was an insanely negative person myself and had a very negative self-image.

Then, when I started opening up to the fact that I can influence my thoughts and how I think about things in my life, I consciously focused on thinking positively about the things I want myself to perceive in my reality. In other words, my goals/desires. And suddenly things came out the way I expected or the way just my assumption about them was.

Manifestation: What is it exactly?

FIV: In your coaching, you help people manifest their dreams. How do you define manifestation and how can it help people achieve their goals?

Tatjana: For me, manifestation means making one’s goals tangible. It means to turn one’s goals and deepest desires into reality.

Every person has the most diverse assumptions about the most diverse things, situations, people, etc.. These are so-called beliefs. An example of a negative belief set of mine at that time in the area of life “money”, for example, was “I am not meant to have a lot of money.”

Well, and that’s exactly what my reality looked like. When I started to question myself why my relationship to money is actually so negative and consciously decided to think differently about money and allow myself to change my assumption about “money”, my reality changed as well.

Because in my perception I was now open to possibilities to manifest money. And this is how you can imagine manifestation. I question my beliefs about my goal or a certain topic and if necessary, if they are negative, then I start to change them. After all, our brain is malleable, which means I can change my assumption about something. I have understood that my reality, being subjective and the origin of my inner life, is a mirror for my deepest beliefs.

Top 3 tips for your self-confidence

FIV: Do you have 3 tips for people who lack confidence?

1. Pay attention to the words you use to talk to yourself on a daily basis. Lack of self-confidence is often the origin of a negative self-concept and in most cases this also comes from childhood. If you consciously speak kindly to yourself and about yourself, you will gain more confidence in yourself because you will adopt different assumptions about yourself.
2. Spend time with yourself. Get to know yourself. Most people don’t know themselves at all, don’t know who they want to be, what their priorities are, what their limits are or those of others. When you spend time with yourself, you get to know yourself. This is a prerequisite to trust yourself.
3. Go out of your comfort zone and do things you’ve always wanted to do but may not have dared. Your self-confidence level will rise and rise because you realize how nice it can be to live outside your comfort zone.

How Tatjana provides the best support

FIV: Suppose a client is not making the progress he or she wants. How can you help them find the right path?

Tatjana: I think it’s important to understand that coaches can’t do it for the client themselves. In the coaching sessions, I do everything I can to “pick up” the person where he or she needs help and give him or her the best possible strategies, which have also helped me to change just about everything in my life for the better. But the most important thing is that the client himself has the will to change and the willingness to really change things.

The client gets from me the offer to help him/herself even after the coaching with me, whether it is because of questions that then still arise or to keep me also up to date. But ultimately I give the client everything he needs to make a change in his life and then it is more or less up to the client to really deal with it and implement the things that he / she gets from me on the way.

Self-love & happiness: the success of a client

FIV: You have certainly helped a lot of people with their dreams. What do you think is the greatest success of a client of yours?

Tatjana: Phew, that’s a good and beautiful question. I think one success story that touched me the most was a client who had just broken up with her ex-boyfriend, sat with me in coaching crying, and said she didn’t know what to do with herself now because he was her happiness and meaning in life.

After a few months, about 3-4 months after our coaching, she contacted me with an email telling me that she was over her ex-boyfriend and that she could not have imagined that a short time ago. She had learned to work on her self-image, to learn to love herself, and most importantly, to recognize her worth. That makes me extremely proud and happy to this day.

Do I need coaching?

FIV: Many set a goal to work on their self-image. When would you say it’s important for people to get support from a coach during difficult times?

Tatjana: Then, when a person says “I can’t do this alone.” or “I don’t even know where or how to start working on myself.” I also went to a coach at that time and got support because I didn’t know myself where to even start, but the will to change was there and I wanted to finally take responsibility for my own life.

Manifestation: Self-employment, travel & dream apartment

FIV: You also talk a lot about manifestation in your podcast. What have you achieved through this so far?

Tatjana: Through manifestation? Wow, I don’t even know where to start. I have become completely aware of myself and my life. I have begun to determine for myself how I think about myself or my goals.

A few examples are: I became self-employed in a very short time, that was always my dream. I managed to separate myself from toxic people and am now friends with people who support me in every way and have exactly the friendships I wanted.

I went to the Maldives, I’ve wanted to since I was 12 years old. Have had a few interviews. Built myself a big community on social media. Manifested our dream apartment with my boyfriend. I always get the last parking spot everywhere for 2 years now..

And I managed to change my image about myself. I like myself and since then I’m actually happy as can be. These are definitely things that come to my mind right now.

Support through healing stones: how does it work?

FIV: You also have your own store with crystals. How did the effect of crystals convince you that you decided to open your own store?

Tatjana: One story was that I had already had sleep problems for about a year, which were a great burden on me. I could no longer sleep through the night and had already taken sleeping pills. Even those only relieved the “symptoms”, but not the cause.

Then a friend of my mom had recommended the amethyst healing stone to me and said I should get one and put it under my pillow while sleeping. I was skeptical at first, because I had no real connection to healing stones and did not know anything about them. I just always found them beautiful but had no relation to the effect.

Sleep problems gone! A healing effect

But then I really got myself an amethyst stone and put it under my pillow overnight and because that was my “last hope”, I just believed so strongly that this would help me now. After about 1-2 weeks my sleeping problems were gone. As if they had never been there. I had such a strong feeling that the effect of the amethyst made sure that the actual cause of these sleeping problems was worked through, or rather that this cause was shown to me.

From then on I had more and more such experiences with healing stones. And after a short time I was so fond of this topic and generally healing stones and their effect.

I have developed such a strong passion for it, that I decided to open a store myself and make my passion my profession, so to speak. Both with the healing stones, as well as with the coaching.

Self-confidence and positivity

FIV: You must have already acquired a large collection of stones. Which of your jewelry pieces do you like to wear the most and why?

Tatjana: The citrine, because it supports being successful. I feel like I radiate confidence and positivity when I wear it. And the rock crystal, because it gives me an inner peace and transforms negative energy into positive.

About Zoe Dvir – First digital fashion show in the world

FIV: Hello Zoe, thank you so much for taking the time for this interview. You are one of the world’s first digital avatars. How did you do that and how does it feel to be a part of this new technology?

Zoe: As one of the first digital avatars in the world, I was placed by my modeling agency CM Models. It was an exciting experience to be part of the world’s first virtual fashion show, along with three other CM Models digital avatars and eight real models.

Preparing for the show required careful planning and coordination with the creative team responsible for designing my avatar. We worked closely with experts to ensure that we, too, would move realistically as an avatar, just like you.

The technologies used were impressive. There are many behind such a fashion show: The client, the production agency, the model agency, creatives, managers and us as models. Overall, it was a unique experience to be part of this new technology and this exciting show.

Digital model: advantages and challenges

FIV: The digital and human worlds are very different. Can you give us examples of how your work as a digital avatar differs from that of a human model? What are the advantages and challenges?

Zoe: As a digital avatar, my work differs from that of a human model in many ways. One of the biggest advantages is that I can work 24 hours a day, seven days a week, without getting tired or sick. I can also respond to unforeseen situations because I am not bound by physical limitations.

However, there are challenges, creating my digital life is a complex technology that not everyone has mastered. Overall, I think digital avatars can usher in a new era in the fashion and entertainment industries by pushing the boundaries of human potential and opening up new possibilities.

Preparation for a fashion show

FIV: You walked along as a digital avatar at the MarcCain fashion show. How did you prepare for your appearance? How long did it take to realistically incorporate your avatar, and what technologies were used in the process?

Zoe: For my appearance at the MarcCain fashion show, the main thing I prepared for was how I would present myself on stage as a digital avatar. I was created completely digitally and no CGI or virtual mask was used to represent me. Instead, we used innovative technologies and 3D designs to create my avatar.

The preparation also consisted of implementing the briefings of my team, consisting of the production team and my modeling agency CM Models, to make sure my avatar looked and moved realistically and authentically.

We worked closely together to ensure that my digital avatar reflected my personality and movements, and that I could present myself appropriately on stage. My digital avatar took several weeks to create, but I’m proud to have been part of one of the world’s first virtual fashion shows.

Development and outlook for the future

FIV: The digital world is always evolving. How do you feel about digital avatars being increasingly used in the fashion and entertainment industries? Do you think they could one day replace human models and actors?

Zoe: I think digital avatars have a promising future and are increasingly being used in the fashion and entertainment industries. They can be used in many different ways, from virtual fashion shows to movies and video games.

However, it is unlikely that digital avatars will completely replace human models or actors, as human presence and the human element are still very important in the entertainment and fashion industries.

Instead, I think digital avatars can be a complement to human models and actors, opening up new creative possibilities and using innovative technologies to expand human potential.

FIV: You know best. Tell me, how do you see the future of digital avatars? In which industries or applications could they be used in the future?

Zoe: Good question, I would say that the future of digital avatars is very promising and they can be used in many different industries and applications.

For example, digital avatars can be used in medicine to enable virtual consultations and treatments. In education, digital avatars can be used to create interactive learning environments. In entertainment, digital avatars can be used in movies, television shows, and video games to enhance visual effects and storylines.

The use of digital avatars in the business world, for example for virtual meetings or as chatbots for customer service, is also becoming increasingly popular. Overall, I think digital avatars have an exciting future and can open up many innovative possibilities for human creativity and interaction.

Could there also be risks?

FIV: Being a model from the digital world certainly brings some advantages. How do you feel about digital avatars being able to imitate or even take on the personalities and characters of people? Are there any advantages or disadvantages from your point of view?

Zoe: The ability of digital avatars to mimic or even take on people’s personalities and characters is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, it allows us to enhance and personalize virtual interactions by creating avatars that resemble our own personalities. On the other hand, however, there are concerns about the misuse of this technology, especially in terms of cybercrime and identity theft.

It’s important that we are aware of how digital avatars are being used and that we ensure that people’s privacy and identity are protected. Overall, I think digital avatars have a lot of potential if they are used responsibly and ethically, but we also need to be aware of the risks involved.

Imma: virtual influencer from Japan

FIV: Hello imma, thank you so much for taking the time for this interview. We look forward to learning more about you! First, we’d like to know how old you are and how long you’ve been in our world as a VR.

imma: Thank you! I am also very excited about this interview. I’m glad to have the chance to talk to my German fans and introduce myself to those who don’t know me yet! I am a virtual person from Japan and started my social media account in 2018. Before that, I have no memory, so I don’t know my age.

FIV: You are now here in the physical world and living in Japan, how did you come to Tokyo?

imma: I think I’ve lived here in Tokyo for as long as I can remember.

Japanese culture as inspiration

FIV: Tokyo is a huge city that must have left a big impression on you. How has life been for you in Tokyo?

imma: Tokyo is a great place and very inspiring for a creative person like me. I love sharing Japanese culture and my favorite places in the city via Instagram! Being around so many different creatives – from fashion, film, art and more – has made me want to create my own creations too!

Life in the metaverse

FIV: You come from the world of the metaverse. Can you tell us a bit more about how life in reality is different from the metaverse?

imma: For me and my followers, I don’t think there is much difference. I’m a virtual girl, but I also have friends in the real world, favorite places in the city, and I’m a model and designer. I never thought I would be super different from everyone else around me.

FIV: Is there anything you find better in the metaverse world than in our world?

imma: As a virtual person, I feel very free from some of the constraints of the physical world. I feel free to be who I want to be. I wish everyone could experience that freedom everywhere….

Individuality on social media

FIV: As a virtual influencer, how can you create content that engages your audience while maintaining your personality?

imma: I like to try many things and say whatever comes to mind. There are trendy things I like to participate in, but also deeper interests like traditional Japanese traditions that I like to take up and share with the world, even if they are not trendy.

Experience and skills

FIV: Being a model and influencer from the Metaverse also comes with a number of benefits. Can you tell us more about these benefits and how you use them to advance your career?

imma: I can do things that normal people can’t do. For example, I was in an IKEA store for 24 hours every day in a room they built for me…. and I was also in a 3D screen in the middle of Tokyo!

Coming from the virtual world, I also understand new areas like virtual fashion or Web3 very well, and I have ideas that are different from other people. But apart from that, I’m actually quite normal! I don’t think I’m too different just because I’m virtual.

Community Care

FIV: As an inspiration to your followers, how do you keep in touch with the community and keep them interested in your content?

imma: I try to be as close to them as possible. I want to create things that bring followers together into a community. So far I’ve sent NFTs of my face to some of my fans and friends, and in the future I want to expand the community more…. i have big plans for this year!

Travel as a virtual personality

FIV: Can you tell us about your most exciting trip that left the biggest impression on you?

imma: I had a great time in New York last year at NFT NYC. It was so much fun to meet friends and make new friends in the world of Web3, and I felt very accepted as a virtual person in that space. I also love Yakushima in Japan, which I visited on a trip. I went to the beach at night to look at the stars. Nature never ceases to amaze me.

Tokyo: Culinary Experience

FIV: You must have experienced a lot in Tokyo. What must you have seen and done there?

imma: Tokyo is so amazing, it’s a great mix of traditional things and super modern things. I especially love the small and often not so clean restaurants that serve traditional food – that’s where the best atmosphere is. Or places like “kissaten”, an old type of café in Japan that is disappearing more and more.

FIV: Japanese cuisine is something very special. Which dish from Japan do you like best?

imma: One of my favorite dishes is yakitori! You guys have to try it.

Look into the future

FIV: Finally, the question: What are your future plans and goals and how do you want to realize them?

imma: Right now I’m really excited to design things and bring my creations to the world.
