Alisha’s Life as a Mom & Content Creator

We talked to Alisha about her life as a mom in this interview. Her daughter Mira recently turned one year old, which of course was also celebrated. We rewound the time to before the birth and asked for tips for expectant moms for you. She also talked to us about where she prefers to buy baby clothes and what 1-year-old Mira can already do. Civil: baby clothes from Turkey

FIV: Hello dear Alisha, we are glad that it works out with the interview today! Let’s get started then. On your social media channels, lifestyle and especially mom life are your main topics. We would like to talk about Mom Life first and would like to know in which stores you prefer to buy clothes for your daughter Mira?

Alisha: In Germany I like to go to H&M, Zara, C&A and Ernsting Family, but my favorite place to go is Civil when we are in Turkey. The selection and variety is simply the greatest there.

Daughter Mira: Crawling and eating alone

FIV: Mira turned one year old about a month ago. Would you like to tell us what the little one can already do?

Alisha: Mira discovered crawling one day after her birthday, now she walks with help on her hand or on different pieces of furniture. She doesn’t walk freely yet, but that’s not bad at all, I’m sure that will come soon. In addition, she can eat all by herself and learns more day by day.

Tips for expectant moms before birth

FIV: Oh how beautiful! Thinking back a year now, to the birth of Mira, do you have any tips for mamas-to-be who are about to give birth?

Alisha: Listen to yourself! Feel free to listen to experiences, but don’t let them drive you crazy, every birth and every mama is different! What helped me relax when it was going on: I kept thinking to myself the whole time, in a few hours I’ll have my baby in my arms. And when the contractions came more regularly, I just thought to myself: each contraction brings me a little closer to getting to know my daughter, to holding her in my arms and just looking at her. And most importantly, please don’t Google everything! That had me very unsettled. If you have questions, ask your midwife, your doctor or the hospital.

Pregnant means pickles with Nutella

FIV: Very often you hear that women discover unusual eating habits for themselves during pregnancy. Did you have crazy eating habits during pregnancy and if so, what were they?

Alisha: At the beginning of pregnancy I loved to eat pickles with Nutella or with jam. At the end of pregnancy I ate Milky Way galore!

FIV: What inspired you in general to get started with social media and share your momlife there?

Alisha: Hamza and I started as a couple and had a lot of fun, but I lacked self-confidence in the beginning, I was afraid of what others would think and was laughed at by friends, relatives or work colleagues even in real life. When I got pregnant and shared my little problems, many moms/pregnant women felt understood and not alone. This gave me food for thought. I started to think about how can I become more approachable for pregnant moms / mommies and over time more and more moms / pregnant women felt understood and this showed up on Instagram in my DMs as well. A lot of messages came with, “Thank you for bringing this up and addressing the issue” or “Thank you for showing openly and honestly that not everything is as rosy as it seems on social media” and that was the point that made me start showing my mommy life on my social media channels. I don’t only show nice days but also bad days, for example I also adressed my miscarriage. This is a topic that is always taboo, which I find very unfortunate. I openly and honestly admit that it still hurts me very much today and hope to give affected women out there some courage and not feel alone. I tell about my problems and also ask my community for advice, which means I include my community completely.

Plan: 2nd child at the end of the year

FIV: You are in the midst of a move, as you and your family are moving into your dream home. What was the deciding factor for you when looking for a house?

Alisha: We said we have to expand because our 3-room apartment with 2 cats has become too cramped in the long run. In addition, we plan to have a second child at the end of the year or at the latest in the new year. We have put a lot of emphasis on the fact that the house or even the apartment has a garden and at least 4-5 rooms. We are very grateful to have found the house and look forward to spending time with the three of us in our new home.

Dream house interior: Simple & modern

FIV: When it comes to furnishings in your dream home, have you thought about what direction you want it to go?

Alisha: Oh yes! It will be very simple, color-wise towards white and gray, also very modern from the furniture pieces. Mira’s room will also be simple, but child-friendly. We’ll work a lot with decorations or even colorful things like her pink ball pit.

FIV: Last but not least, since we’re on the topic of decor, we’d be interested to know: Where do you prefer to buy your decorations?

Alisha: I look online a lot, but when I’m out on the town, it’s always to Depot, TK Maxx and IKEA.

Gigi aka Jelena Noura Hadid – The fact that Gigi is actually just a nickname may not be directly obvious to everyone. But not only she alone is known from her family – quite the opposite. In Gigi Hadid’s dressing room you can unfortunately only take a small look. You can see a shelf with different bags. But then there is a make-up room. A yellow carpet makes the room cosy. An old looking hairdresser’s chair in yellow stands on it, in front of it is a table. Above it hangs an apparently large mirror, which was equipped with individual lamps on the sides. Just like a typical show mirror.

The stairs also got an upgrade. The walls next to it are white and empty, but the stairs are the eye-catcher here. It was equipped with a carpet that covers every step. So the staircase looks a bit more comfortable. The patterns of the carpet are colorful.

The bedroom of the two celebrities

Anyone who has ever wondered how Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik decorated their bedroom will of course get an answer to this question. The bed is made of wood, with the edge of the back of the bed not being straight. This gives a more natural look. Comforter and sheets are white here. There is a small lamp on each of the two bedside tables. Above the bed there are round wall objects hanging for decoration.

The bathroom of the two is also impressive. Here you can see again shelves and partly also walls in marble style. A small Polaroid picture is framed next to the sink. There is also a red picture on the wall that reflects the openness of the two towards other people.

Dream wedding in Cologne

We could hardly believe it ourselves, after 8 months of relationship already the wedding follows? Everyone wonders if this isn’t a little too fast. But if you look at Tom and Heidi like that, you can just be happy for them. They’ve been showing it on every Instagram Post for months. Now the big million wedding is coming up in the beautiful city of Cologne. Cologne is close to Heidi’s homeland, the Bergisch Gladbach. A normal evening on Instagram, we thought. A new post from model Mama Heidi is a big surprise. In the picture Heidi poses with her Tom, holding her brand new engagement ring in the camera with the words “I said yes <3”. Lightning engagement or was it to be expected? Anyone who has followed the flirtations of the two over the last few months is probably less surprised, because they never miss an opportunity to express their affection in the form of posts or the like. A closer look at an engagement is of course less surprising. After only one hour, the post already had more than 6000 comments, the next morning even more than half a million congratulations!

Heidis past relationships

The first wedding is not for model Mama Heidi. Heidi had her first marriage at the age of 24 when she married the Australian star hairdresser Ric Pipino, who was 56 at the time. At that time she was still on the brink of her international breakthrough, unfortunately her young love lasted only 4 years, then followed the divorce. In February 2014 she meets the singer Seal, with whom one year later her 2nd wedding follows. Their marriage lasted for 7 years, where to the surprise of everyone in 2012 the separation follows.
