How many tattoos does Julia have then? In this interview we talk about fashion, tattoos, travel and content creation. Fashion is Julia’s passion. She always looks great, so we asked her where she stores for her outfits and what accessory she can’t leave the house without. We also talked about Coachella, because everyone who is on Instagram or TikTok knows about the festival! But is it really worth it or is it just hype? And what does she actually love about her job and to what extent will it change in the next few years? These are exactly the questions Julia answers for us. Julia’s favorites get under your skin

FIV: Hello dear Julia, we are glad that the interview worked out today. Then we want to start directly with the first question. On your social media channels you always show your tattoos. Which of your tattoos do you like the most? Do you perhaps already have another tattoo in planning?

JULIA: I have a total of 10 small tattoos and I love each one in its own way. But special for me are for example my two tattoos on the right arm, because I have stung in Thailand. Just as the two tattoos (palm & LA), since I have stung these in LA and the hibiscus flower from Ibiza. And of course the name of my dog Abbey!!! I love the idea of getting tattoos done in places that are special to me or have brought a memorable time. For this reason, my next tattoo is already in a few days, because I’m sitting right here in Cape Town and I love this city over everything. It will be the tattoo: 111 which means Trust and Intuition and the second small tattoo I still have to think about, but should have something to do with Cape Town.

Coachella: a vibe or just hype?

FIV: How nice that you can attribute meaning to each tattoo. You were at Coachella this year. Would you like to summarize your experience for us? Is it just hype or is it really worth it?

JULIA: Oh my God!! I still can’t believe I was there. It’s always been a dream of mine and when I watch the videos now, I get goosebumps. I can realize it better in the aftermath than in the moment, because that was so many impressions for me. I think it is EVERYWHERE worth it. I love creating the outfits, of course. You can really let loose without feeling overdressed. There you are not judged, it runs there everything from basic to completely crazy rum.
The positive vibe is just so much to feel and the backdrop alone, which looks like a movie screen by the way, is worth it. I also think it’s mega cool to see so many stars at once!!! Just seeing mega stars this year like Billi Eilish, Harry Styles, The Weekend and many more was so rad! When do you see so people times within 3 days?
Of course, it also makes a lot of difference with whom you are there. And since we were a big group, it was of course a lot of fun!

Fashion: affordable with expensive accessories

FIV: So definitely a vibe. It really makes everyone jealous! Fashion plays a big role for you on your social media channels. Where do you prefer to buy your outfits?

JULIA: Oh yes, that’s right! I have loved fashion since I was a little girl. I’m very variable when it comes to style, so I can’t say the style is exactly mine.
It’s the same for me with the stores. Basically I love it but expensive with affordable to combine, so I love Zara, Bershka, Pull&Bear, Cos, Reserved and really much more haha. Really can’t make up my mind. But I think Zara is already my favorite. … and exactly these outfits I like to combine with designer accessories, such as shoes, bags and glasses.

Accessory Must Haves: Bag & Sunglasses

FIV: Since you’re mentioning expensive accessories, what accessory can’t you leave the house without?

JULIA: Bag and sunglasses!!! Enhances any outfit and is also, I would say times, very practical haha.

Content Creation: Passion as a Profession

FIV: Now we’d like to talk a bit about your job in content creation in general. What do you love about your job as a content creator?

JULIA: I love so much about it and am incredibly grateful to be able to call this passion my job. I still don’t realize that sometimes. Having worked as a model before, I really appreciate how good and open my working relationship is with my management. They are like friends and family and employers at the same time. I didn’t know that before. Also, I think it’s great that brands book you because they like you as a person and character and also appreciate what you present on your channel. I really enjoy living out my passion for fashion and inspiring thousands of people with my lifestyle every day. In addition, through this job you have the opportunity to help others, no matter on what topic related, just as you can draw attention to important things that concern you. I’m incredibly grateful for my community and the positive feedback I receive on a daily basis. I am so happy when I can help someone, inspire or just have a positive thought a day through me and my content. Another very important point is that it gives me the opportunity to experience so many unforgettable moments that I could hardly dream of before. I get to meet so many great people and places that inspire me and move me forward in life as a person. I could list a thousand more things haha, believe me.

Changes of the job in the next years

FIV: How do you think your job will change in the next few years?

JULIA: I think it will all become much more “crass” and professional. Of course, I hope it won’t change for the worse, but I can’t imagine that.
I just think you always have to be open to changing or adapting things.

Social media: Instagram, TikTok or YouTube?

FIV: You are a content creator on various platforms. Which platform do you enjoy the most and why?

JULIA: I’m on Instagram, Tik Tok and YouTube. However, I’m not really active on the last two. Would love to expand both though. I would love to upload vlogs of travels, make up tutorials and cooking videos on YouTube. Have also already practiced a bit and maybe what comes from Cape Town and the safari online.
I currently enjoy Instagram the most, because I’m just in the “game” and I love the combination of pictures, short videos, etc.. I think it’s a mix of aesthetics and yet a lot of personal, I like that!

Favorite travel destinations: LA, Cape Town, Iceland, …

FIV: You’ve traveled a lot because of your job. What has been your favorite destination so far and why?

JULIA: Puhhhh… that is very difficult. I love, as already mentioned with the tattoo, Cape Town, because the city or the environment is just magical for me. It is, I think, one of the most beautiful places I have been to. (Second time here now) LA/Coachella was a dream come true for me, but definitely Iceland as well. When I heard I got to go there with one of my clients, I almost lost it. It was just unbelievable. This nature that I was allowed to see there and as a crowning glory the northern lights, was already something very special.

Julia’s Must “Do and See” Hotspots in South Africa

FIV: From your current favorite travel destination, can you tell us hotspots that our readers should definitely know about?

JULIA: In South Africa, I can definitely recommend going on safari, preferably in Kruger National Park. In Cape Town you have to visit Clifton/Camps Bay and watch the sunset. Hike on Lionshead and drive up Table Mountain. Going to the wine region to eat and drink wine. Horse riding at Long Beach. Visit the Penguin Beach in Simons Town. Visit Cape Point or the Cape of Good Hope. Attend a concert at the Botanical Garden. Drive Chapmans Peak Drive and and and.

Typical Julia: animals, justice & fun

FIV: Last but not least, we’d like to get to know you a little better. What is so typical of Julia?

JULIA: When I ask my family, boyfriends, girlfriends, they always say that I am a very open, positive person and that I infect others with my happy charisma. I am very compassionate and an absolute animal person. I love animals more than anything and I stand up for them. Above all, I stand very much for justice and am a really loyal person because of it. They also said I’m definitely a family man, but in need of harmony hehe. I’m almost always in a good mood, fun and laughter definitely can not be missing, often I also have my 5 minutes / crazy times haha.

Everyday life as a content creator

In this interview Caro talks to us about the foundation of her own brand Ninety-9, which she built up together with her father. Among other things, she tells us about her personal favorite piece of her own brand and her personal biggest success in her social media career. FIV: Hello dear Caro, how nice that it worked out with the interview today! Let’s start with the first question. Two years ago you founded your own brand Ninety-9 with your father. Would you like to tell us about your experience of starting your own business at such a young age?

Caro: It’s still a challenge every day. I couldn’t have done it all without my father. It’s important and great to have someone at your side who already has experience when it comes to starting a business. Every day there are different tasks and hurdles that come up and that we have to overcome and master together. Together, we can always look for a suitable solution and then implement it accordingly.

Caro’s favorites from Ninety-9: Bikinis

FIV: It’s always good when you’re not alone in such situations. What is your personal favorite Ninety-9 piece?

Caro: Definitely our bikinis and something that is now launching: our signature tops and dresses with super soft fabric and very everyday cuts.

Every day is always different

FIV: Besides your brand, you have many projects going on at the same time like social media, your podcast with Sonny Loops and a lot more. So you always have a lot going on, what does a typical day look like for you?

Caro: I get up at just before 7 and get ready for sports at 8. After that I go home again, shower and get ready for the day and then the first daily call starts. Then I go out with Skei and feed her afterwards. I make my to do lists every day and look at what’s coming up for the day, like collaborations, YouTube videos or TikToks and whether I’m working from home or going to the office. I then work through this list throughout the day. But you can say that every day is actually always different. In the evening, I like to end the day with my boyfriend on the couch, we order food or cook something and watch a series.

Own discipline: To Do lists & goals

FIV: Many projects require a lot of discipline. Do you have any tips for our readers on how to increase their own discipline?

Caro: Create to-do lists and set realistic goals. Because when you have achieved this goal, even if it is only a small thing or an intermediate goal, this triggers happiness hormones and motivates for the next day and the next goal. You can also write yourself little notes with reminders for everyday life and hang them up in the bathroom, for example, and regularly remind yourself of this positive energy.

Pussy talk together with Sonny Loops

FIV: As mentioned before, you have your podcast together with Sonny Loops and since you just have so many projects, we would be interested to know what inspired you to record your own podcast back then?

Caro: I wanted to do a podcast for quite a long time before Pussytalk, but I never really knew how to start and was pretty busy with other projects at the same time. Then Sonny approached me with the idea of a joint podcast and that’s how the whole thing came about. We can share the work so well.

FIV: You recently bought a new dream bag from Hermès. Is there another bag you’re dying to get at some point?

Caro: I am currently super happy with my bag collection. On my list is still a Louis Vuitton vintage bag, because I also like to buy very second hand. Here I am already longer on the search, because the model is no longer produced and the price and the condition should of course also fit.

Caro’s greatest success: Ninety-9

FIV: For you personally, what has been your biggest success in your social media career so far?

Caro: The biggest success was, among other things, Ninety9 and that I was able to make this project big together with my dad or launch it at all. Another milestone and dream was the invitation from Dior to the South of France.

FIV: If you could meet your former self, what would you want to say to yourself?

Caro: Always listen to your gut feeling and trust your inner voice. You know the right way and should follow it.

A lot has happened since GNTM

FIV: Hello dear Elisa, how nice that it worked out with the interview today! Since the new season of Germanys’s Next Topmodel this year, you have remained in our and many people’s memory and your Instagram profile is also growing. Your super outgoing nature has taken you far and you even made it into the Top 10 Models 2021! Some time has passed since the end of the season, how are you doing right now? What has happened to you since your time on GNTM?

Elisa: Thank you, I am also happy that it worked out! In the meantime, some time has passed and I was able to review my time during GNTM. Of course, it is a journey that you go through with yourself and that you grow in many ways. I was able to completely restructure myself professionally and got many new opportunities that were previously almost unthinkable for which I am very grateful today!

Germany’s next Topmodel as a jump start

FIV: GNTM must have been a good start for your life as a model. You made your own experiences there with the model business and it was certainly not always easy! Still, you stuck it out for so long and showed everyone what you could do. Were there ups and downs that you remember fondly and would you participate in the show again at your current level?

Elisa: Absolutely! Especially with my current level of knowledge I would participate every time anew in GNTM again and again. With GNTM I associate basically only positive apart from the hygiene in the bathroom, that was a scandal in itself

Be perfect to be successful as a model?

FIV: For many, the modeling business is daunting, full of Photoshop and perfectionism. You are a very natural model and also dare to post pictures without much make up, which we find really great! Your pictures are the perfect mix of glam look and no makeup for us. We wonder, how big is the pressure to be always “perfect” in the business? How do you handle it best?

Elisa: I think to a certain extent there is a bit of perfectionism in all of us, especially professionally. And as in every profession, there are also times when you are stressed or feel pressured. But the most important thing is not to compare yourself in the “Instagram world” and to keep that in mind, which I do quite well.

Tips for young up and coming models

FIV: You were still young when you started modeling. Aside from GNTM, what advice would you give to other/ younger models to start their career or would you recommend GNTM as a career start? Do you have any tips that you can/ would like to give to younger models for their career?

Elisa: Especially for young models it is important to finish school! And not to compare yourself in any way with other models, because everyone individually has a very special type that is in demand in the respective model industry. However, you should get used to punctuality and a certain structure early on.

Planning is the be-all and end-all in the model business

FIV: As a model, you should be flexible and open to new countries. You have to travel a lot when your job requires it. On your Instagram profile you are also busy posting about vacations and trips, the pictures make you want to get on the next plane! Can you balance that well with your boyfriend who is a soccer player, do you find time to go traveling as a couple as well? What places you’ve been to or would like to go to inspire you the most? Do you have a favorite place and recommendations for our readers?

Elisa: I’m so happy that my Instagram feed is so well received and inspiring! Organization is for us the A & O in a relationship and I’m very happy that we come there so on a denominator! Especially because I am relatively flexible in terms of time and can manage my own time well, I can plan super when and how long I can be with him in Denmark. Vacation trips are not yet planned, but if we create it temporally always in his summer or winter break.

Elisa’s favorite travel destination is …

My favorite place so far is and remains Mallorca, I grew up there and always feel at home where I can come to rest and completely switch off.

Skin care tips for a clear skin

FIV: When traveling, besides the beautiful aspects, it can also be stressful at times. Especially through stress, the skin can suffer. You also talk openly on your Instagram profile about your experiences with acne and know a lot about the subject. When do you feel most comfortable in your skin and do you have your top beauty tips for our readers, for a beautiful skin ect.?

Elisa: Unfortunately, feeling comfortable with blemished skin is difficult for a lot of people these days.

FIV: It is known that only creams do not make the skin healthy. They can support, but the real beauty comes from within. Are you on a special diet that you have to follow as a model or do you exercise regularly? Do you have a tip you can give us about health?

Elisa: I am not on a special diet. I love to go jogging in nature and have a healthy lifestyle, but that has actually always been the case and doesn’t come overnight. But I also like to snack from time to time or eat fast food – it’s the amount that makes it in the end! Tips on the subject of health: A lot of exercise and enough water, so I always see an improvement in my skin.

Elisa: Elsa Hosk is an absolute icon for me. She had an amazing career as a Victoria Secret model. I’m still at the beginning, but my dream is to be very successful at some point.

Lifestyle tips: The body needs rest

Elisa: There have to be cheat days and you shouldn’t always be too strict with yourself and cancel them. A day offline is good for each of us and is also human, because the body needs rest. In order to get back on track, a beauty day usually helps me on my offline days, where I take care of myself completely.

FIV: Finally, a short look into the future, we are curious what you have planned in the near future: Do you have big plans like a move or something similar or is there something special coming up? Give us a little teaser of what your fans and followers can look forward to in the near future!

Social media inspiration: Wisdm & Harry Styles

FIV: It’s easy to tell from your Instagram feed that you’re into fashion and you also express yourself through different styles, what makes a good outfit for you?

Nic: What makes a good outfit for me is that the colours match, it’s comfortable and above all that you feel good in it. You don’t need brand-name clothes for that. I also buy a lot of second hand and then enhance my outfit with accessories. I also think it’s cool when I can inspire people with my outfits, so everyone should be able to afford it.

FIV: You always like to occupy yourself with the things you particularly enjoy and thus come across many different impressions, who or what inspires you along the way in your style? And who is your biggest role model?

Nic: I get most of my inspiration from my Explore page on Instagram. I always see a lot of men’s fashion there. Otherwise I also get a lot of inspiration from Wisdm and Harry Styles.

Nic’s tips for your perfect outfit

FIV: When you get ready in the morning and stand in front of your closet, what are the three fashion essentials you always find there and what makes them so special?

Nic: The first thing I never miss are rings. They make an outfit complete for me, without them the details are missing. I also always wear my watch. I got it from my father when I moved out of home, so I associate a lot with the watch. And perfume also makes a lot of difference to me and is simply part of an outfit.

FIV: On TikTok, trends are set every day by you and others. Are there any current or older trends (in fashion, on TikTok in general, etc) that you think were particularly cool or terrible?

Nic: Basically I think everyone can wear what they want, as long as you feel comfortable. I myself wear a lot of vintage and I would also call myself an e-boy and I think the trend is cool. If I had to name trends now that I find terrible, I would say “Wellensteyn” jackets. Also this “Deutschrap” style is not really mine, because I don’t like it.

FIV: The situation of being so successful on social media is very special and especially something unimaginable for most others your age, what do you like most about what you do?

Nic: What I like most is that it’s still my biggest hobby, even though I do it every day. I like my life now so much better than my life before as a computer science student. I just feel very comfortable and in good hands in the fashion scene.

TikTok: More than just an app

FIV: You must experience a lot of crazy things with all the opportunities that come your way in your career. What moment in your career so far has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Nic: This is definitely the Milan Fashion Show I got to be at with BOSS this year. I’ve always wanted to go to a fashion show but never thought it was possible. Suddenly sitting in the front row with other influencers like Caro Daur and Leonie was an incredible feeling. For me it was and is very special.

FIV: It’s clear that you experience many exciting things, but of course they don’t always take place in the same city and sometimes not even in the same country. Are you on the road a lot thanks to TikTok, if so how do you deal with having a constantly changing environment?

Nic: Due to the Corona Pandemic I don’t get to travel much anymore, of course. But I love to travel, to get to know new people and cultures. I am a very open person and being on the road is just fun. I’m also looking forward to when that will be possible again.

FIV: On the Internet, of course, you only ever see what you reveal about yourself. Most of the time it’s only the particularly positive things that make a person, but what is your worst quality?

Nic: I’m already on my mobile phone a lot, which is of course also work-related, but I still want to change that. I know that it’s unhealthy, but it’s just a lot of fun to be in contact with my community.

FIV: When you are really down because something went wrong in your everyday life or you had a fight with someone, what cheers you up?

Nic: In fact, the DM’s from my followers or posts from fanpages always cheer me up too. Generally the support of my community. No matter how bad my day goes, they always manage to cheer me up again.

FIV: Finally, one last question, of course everyone has wishes and dreams in life, what do you wish for your future?

FIV: Hi Naomi, you are a wonderful London-based luxury, travel, fashion and lifestyle founder. But how did you develop an interest in each of these categories?

Naomi: I’ve worked in travel and PR for over 20 years so it’s always been a part of me! I’m a very creative person who sewed and made things from a young age and like most people naturally have an interest in fashion and all things feminine, lifestyle and beauty like everyone else before Instagram flicking through the fashion magazines.

How to build a meaningful social media?

FIV: In just a few short years, you’ve built sponsorships with luxury travel brands, traveled all over the world, and built a significant social media following. What’s your secret?

Naomi: It wasn’t just a few years ago. I started working with various Greek properties, Sailing Resorts and the Greek Tourism Board 10 years ago, mainly with Face Book Pages and writing blogs for the various outlets. I started the account on Instagram as soon as it opened to share that content, but at that point the focus was mainly on Facebook. I had already built a strong following on my Facebook page. I was lucky enough to get some advice from the owner of one of the biggest advertising agencies in Israel who suggested what I did, the name for me was a “social influencer”, this was about 5 years ago, and I should focus more on Instagram in the future. So I did….. Of course I was working full time for the Daily Mail and General Trust Group, so my travel was just within my annual leave, so my content up until 2017 was all about those trips and weekends and day trips or restaurants. I started exploring areas on my feed from my country and also shared other places I visited. Very quickly, hotels and tour operators and tourism boards contacted me to post on my feed. I wanted to share the world as I see it, I wanted each photo to make you feel like you could be the person standing there….

FIV: If we were to sum up your feed universe in one word, it would be this: paradise. What’s your favorite of all your Instagram account posts? And where do you get your inspiration from?

Naomi: Of course like everyone I see on Instagram and Pinterest that give me inspo, but I stay away from recreating it. It’s hard not to take a photo in the same spot when it gives you the best vantage point, but you won’t find Mr. in the same dress and hairstyle completely imitating someone else. Honestly, when I arrive, I move around and take lots of photos, I see what works…. I know what areas a hotel wants to highlight, the room, the social spaces like the pool, the food in the spa, so I work to create content around those areas for food and stories. When you see the camera roll, you know that’s what I want to share with my audience.

Usually there has to be a centerpiece, whether it’s an amazing view, a beautiful platter of food, there has to be something that makes someone think I have to visit this place, it’s an experience for me!

FIV: Naomi, you have more than 750,000 followers today. What is the biggest challenge for you to be an influencer?

Naomi: Working in travel is very short notice, my paid jobs can come in 1 week to 4 weeks before so it’s hard for me to plan anything outside of 4 weeks which is difficult when travel needs to be planned and trying to plan and chat with clients when you’re on a trip with another client can be exhausting (which is why many travel influencers only get a few hours of sleep a night when they’re on the job).

You can’t guarantee what income will come in each month unless you have a monthly brand ambassador partnership and if you get paid (brands withholding money for 6 months, agencies closing so they don’t get paid at all) it’s the same as anyone working independently, you don’t have a guaranteed income and all the work from negotiation, offers going on and producing the work, to finishing talking to your audience and then invoicing, it’s all on you!

The trolls are obviously something everyone just has to deal with, it’s part of the job! I’ve had times where it’s gotten so bad and some of them are professionals who know how to get into you, then they can contact anyone who sends emails to your customers who send a lot of spam to your account if you don’t give them a response. But after some time you have to try, I know it’s hard, but really try not to respond.

Influencer tips: sponsored content, branded messaging, feed inspiration and followers.

FIV: As influencers and businesswomen, how do you decide which brands to work with and how do you make sure your followers are open to sponsored content?

Naomi: I promote Luxury Travel, so it’s all Luxury Travel, aside from the fact that it’s everything I use. You’ve probably heard every influencer say I only promote things that I think are authentic, and then you see 20 watches, 20 granola bars, different phone apps going down the list, on their page.

For me, there will be mote fashion collabs, anything that I wear and use obviously, like swimwear and travel products and of course all beauty and lifestyle products. The question you have to ask is if your only audience was your mother, would you sell this to her?

FIV: You have an unreadable feed! How do you make sure branded messaging is a good fit for your feed?

Naomi: I’ve always tried to do it my way! I lose a lot of paying jobs or get offered money if I change my image and I just say no. If it’s not a good fit for me, then we’re just not a good fit. Brand partnerships always work well when the brand lets the influencer share their take on how the product is presented and used. No one knows their audience better than the influencer, but the influencer and the brand also need to see if that audience is someone who wants to listen. This is where a brand should know that this is the wrong influencer for my product and also an influencer should not take the job because the product has no relevance to you or your audience.

Must have list to go on a trip

FIV: As a traveler, how do you organize your trips? And what is your must have list to go on a trip?

Naomi: A lot of them are very short notice. Nowadays, most of my trips are because someone, a hotel, an airline, a travel PR, a tourism board has contacted me and they want to work with me and then it’s a standard negotiation of dates, services, itineraries and so on, which also coincides with all the other brand work that I have to shoot on location.

I take all the standard stuff like everyone else, all my gear, cameras, chargers, etc, all the name brand shooting products, toiletries, clothes, but outside of that I always take a huge blanket when I’m on the plane! I fly a lot, too much, and it’s just something to help me sleep (like a comfort blanket from home and I can use it to wrap up if you’re going to a destination where it’s hot, but then there are those cold nights, I’ve been on a lot of flights and even with the little blanket that gives you I was freezing, so I always have my warm blanket with me in my carry-on!

Men want to experience something really exciting deep in their hearts and not just hang out in the office during the day and in the living room in the evening. That’s why it’s good to go out into the wilderness together every now and then and pitch an imaginary or real tent there. There’s something special about a guy’s night out under the stars, especially in our modern age; it meets the quiet needs of many desk jockeys and office jocks. Grilling juicy meat over a campfire and maybe playing a game or two of Texas Hold’em with a whiskey in hand, that’s certainly got something going for it. You can also go really wild with paintball, but most of the halls are not open in the evening. But maybe you’d like to have your own to organize your own Nerf battle and construct a really exciting course for it. This works best in a gym or on a large plot of land outside. Note: The grass should be cut short outside, so that you can find all the ammunition afterwards.

Or you could even set up a challenge cup, engraved with the winner’s name every time a new racing tournament comes to an end. The virtual showdown can of course take place in disciplines other than the motor sport for example in the latest FIFA game, online poker or League of Legends. If you surround yourself with a male circle of friends who tend to have culinary interests, there is another nice option for organizing a men’s evening: How about organizing a tasting of wines, whiskeys or other specialties? Maybe you’ll create a theme evening à la “Savoir vivre en France” and eat your way through the French specialities on offer. Next time it’s Italy’s turn or Holland’s or Switzerland’s. You feel stressed from your everyday life and could do with a real wellness evening? If your friends are of a similar mindset, then treat yourselves and book the full package! Go to a thermal spa with sauna and wellness facilities, a health spa or a wellness hotel. Go for a sauna together, refresh yourselves afterwards in the bathing pond and let yourself be kneaded with a massage. Enjoy the steam bath, soak in the whirlpool, bask in the salt grotto, and have tasty fruit juices served. Whatever else you can think of, do it with complete gusto, as if you were oil sheiks from Saudi Arabia or Rockefeller himself. Afterwards, perhaps have a glass or two of champagne, as a digestif, so to speak. Life is simply beautiful – at least at such sweet hours!

The internet is a great way to get up-to-date information on when and where your favorite rock bands are playing next. Even if you and your buddies might be getting on in years, don’t miss out on this fun! Bravely buy your tickets, dress up as rock as you can, and head to the concert or festival. And remember: Hanging around in the last rows and clapping along tiredly is not the point, but it is important to get a place directly at the stage. There you will be surrounded by the wild crowd, which is guaranteed to carry you away and motivate you. A visit to the festival with an overnight stay in a tent and a joint hangover breakfast at lunchtime is particularly recommended: these are experiences that will last for decades in myths and legends. The singles among you will surely get a chance to meet like-minded gals on this occasion and maybe it will even result in a hot flirtation or a relationship. Who knows? Just don’t walk around with too cool of a poker face and be open to anything.

Marie: I have always made sure to remain myself, with my qualities but also with my faults. What brings us closer is to show others that we are all the same, with our trials and tribulations, our complexes and victories.

Marie: Listen to yourself and remain yourself, do not make content to please others but first of all to yourself!

FIV: As an influencer, you often have the opportunity to work with companies. What is essential for you when you agree to cooperate with a brand?

Marie: Communication. Brands need to understand that we are not an advertising board and that the briefs they give us must be adapted to our audience and our video style.

FIV: What does a blogger and entrepreneur’s day look like?

Marie: The advantage is that the days are all very different. Sometimes (often) I’m on a press trip, so I produce content for Instagram or my vlog chain. Back at the office, I process emails, edit, think about video ideas, shoot or manage the shop.

FIV: You have been embarking on the adventure of entrepreneurship for the past year by creating your own decoration and lifestyle brand: Leaves and Clouds. Can you describe in a few words the universe of your brand?

Marie: It is an online shop based on Made in France and/or Made in Europe, where we offer products that are both zero waste and organic. The idea is to gather French craftsmen who want to be known through our shop.

FIV: You are also a beauty queen and your subscribers cannot do without your precious advice in this field. What is your beauty routine?

Marie: My routine varies according to my needs. I don’t have an established routine, but the key steps are always a good makeup removal, skin cleansing and a lot of hydration!
