Patek Philippe watches are world-famous for their tradition, exclusivity and record prices. In the list of the most expensive watches ever made in the world, Patek Philippe occupies almost without gap the top 20 position. We will introduce you to the most popular models of the ”Calatrava” collection, give you all the important details about prices and waiting lists and explain the history of the watch.

Patek Philippe Calatrava: models, prices, waiting lists & history

The Swiss luxury brand Patek Philippe, with its headquarters in Geneva, was founded in 1839 by the Polish nobleman Antoine Norbert de Patek. How was the luxury brand’s world-famous Calatrava model created? In 1887, the Calatrava cross became the official symbol of the Geneva watchmaking factory. A devout Catholic, founder Philippe knows the meaning of the symbol: The cross is the symbol of the Order of Calatrava. It was founded in 1158 by the Catholic Church, whose members saved the Spanish castle of Calatrava from Arab invasion. The symbol now adorns the winding crown, case back and clasp of Patek Philippe watches.

In 1932, Patek Philippe named the Calatrava model the most popular watch model. When the first model of the series was built, the Bauhaus style determined the modern design language. The watch is characterized by a clear dial, simple indices and a narrow bezel. The Calatrava radiates elegance and simplicity. The Calatrava has been worn for generations as a men’s watch as well as a ladies’ watch. The Calatrava has clear lines and is the essence of a round watch. It is also one of the finest examples of Patek Philippe’s style. The simple and elegant logo inspires each new generation of watch lovers with its timeless and unobtrusive sense of perfection.

Current prices & waiting lists

The Patek Philippe Calatrava starts from a sales value of around 15,000 euros. All the models in the collection can be found in a range of up to around 40,000 euros. Waiting times for this watch are limited to the respective model. While the rather cheaper models are already available at some retailers, there are waiting times for the higher priced Calatravas. Meanwhile the collection is one of the three most popular watches of the luxury company, next to the Nautilus and the Aquanaut.

Models, Trademarks & Materials

Patek Philippe Calatrava, with its limited design, was from the very beginning considered a dress watch. The Calatrava is the ideal suit watch. However, this is not only the right appearance: like every Patek Philippe watch, the Calatrava movement is of outstanding quality and is manufactured with the highest technical precision of the Geneva watch industry. Some models are equipped with tourbillon, striking mechanism and other complicated functions. In the following we will introduce you to the four most popular models of the watch company.

The famous link chains by Michael Kors have become an indispensable part of fashionistas’ jewellery boxes. However, many people don’t know that even more unusual pieces have sprung from the designer pen of Michael Kors. The New York designer is already known for setting new standards, playing with innovative materials and experimenting with unusual designs. Today I would like to present you the latest piece in my collection, which comes with a very special combination.

An exquisite accessory was created here from precious materials that is guaranteed to make every woman’s heart beat faster. The lower part is formed by a black leather strap that has been tastefully and playfully decorated with a diamond embossing. The eye-catcher, however, is the gold-coloured chain element made of stainless steel, which is also matched by the shiny buckle that stylishly rounds off the accessory. The Michael Kors leather bracelet is about 20 centimeters long and wears very comfortably on the skin. It can also be combined very well and looks great next to a fine Michael Kors watch, for example. With this extraordinary piece you will definitely be the eye-catcher everywhere and can give every simple outfit a spark of glamour!

If you are also thinking about getting one of these Michael Kors leather bracelets, I would like to give you a few tips on how to take care of it, so that it will stay with you for a long time. To remove coarse or fine dirt particles, never use cosmetics indiscriminately, but always use soft, lint-free cloths. Under no circumstances should the jewellery come into contact with harsh cleaning agents or be stored in damp rooms, as otherwise it runs the risk of oxidising. You should also take off your Michael Kors leather bracelet when gardening, showering, exercising or sunbathing. If you treat it with care, nothing can go wrong and you will enjoy it for a long time!

A little guide for exactly the right care for your leather bracelet
