Designer: Marcel Ostertag Collection – Fashion Week Berlin

Marcel Ostertag was founded as a label in 2006 and since then it is hard to imagine him out of the fashion scene. His fashion is an inspiration for fashion fanatics. 70s and 80s mixed with masculine details make the outfits creative. The materials are mixed and with the interplay of feminine creations and masculine cuts Ostertag creates wearable art.

Designer Marcel Ostertag: Career & Collections

With the start of his studies at ESMOD in Munich and the transfer to Central St. Martins College in London, his career already started back then. With his Bachelor in 2004 he got the award for the best graduation collection. He also received an award after his Master’s degree. With acquaintances such as Paul Smith, Dunhill or Burberry and the collaboration with designer Martina Rogy, Marcel Ostertag was able to gain experience. “Rogy & Ostertag” was released in two different boutiques. His dossier continues to fill up after that with awards and Fashion Weeks in London and Beijing. In 2008 he managed to win the “Karstadt New Generation Award” and was allowed to design a collection for the company.

Marcel Ostertag: Fashion Week Show

London and Beijing were just the beginning for Fashion Week. In 2018 Marcel Ostertag may present his collection for the fifth time in front of an international audience at New York Fashion Week. But he still remains loyal to Berlin and we get to enjoy his 2019 show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.

Anja Gockel Fashion Show – Berlin Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2016
