How was it? Ok, it could hardly be easier! Just thinking about how I’ve bought my weed so far – but no details haha.

Step 2: Medical examination and prescription

After approval by the doctor, my prescription was automatically sent to a partner pharmacy. I was surprised how quickly it went – no waiting, no stress, no uncertainty and best of all, I had nothing to do with it!

A real plus for people with a busy schedule or an aversion to long visits to the doctor and then to the pharmacy. They and one or two others had the same stress, certainly also with dealers.

Step 3: Delivery in 48 hours

The biggest surprise? My parcel actually arrived within 48 hours, 41 hours to be precise. Discreetly packed and with the requirement to show my ID upon delivery. The whole process was simple, straightforward and quick. For me, it was the first time that access to medicinal cannabis was so stress-free.

How was it? Like every package from Amazon, Zalando, Zara, a friendly hello from my letter carrier and I had 30 grams of Strawberry OG from CannaZen.

FIV: David, Stephan, nice of you to take the time. How do you start the day before you get to CannaZen?

David Krems: My mornings usually start with exercise – whether it’s a short run or half an hour at the gym. It gets me going and gives me energy for the day. Then I have a balanced breakfast, often with fruit and yogurt, so that I can start the day well fortified. We had over a thousand orders in the first week alone – you can’t have enough energy!

Stephan Czaja: I like to start the day with a tour of the city center, I like to walk – that’s often where the best ideas come from. Then I sit down with a cappuccino, what projects are on the agenda? Which meetings are particularly important? This gives me an immediate overview and a structured start to the working day. So I can still learn a lot from David’s sporting energy!

Founder story: From BBQ to startup

FIV: Let’s move on to CannaZen. How did the idea of setting up a platform for medical cannabis come about?

Stephan Czaja: We’ve known each other forever, almost ten years. David has had his companies, I mean forever. Then we went out for dinner in early 2024 and ….

David showed me that you can easily order medical cannabis online in 5 minutes. I couldn’t believe it until we actually got a cannabis prescription – without all the stress of buying cannabis.

David Krems: The disadvantage of all the providers is that they are from Malta, London, none of them are from Germany. That’s how CannaZen was born.

FIV: How does the platform work in detail?

David Krems: Patients start with a digital questionnaire that collects all the relevant information for our doctors. After the medical examination and approval, the prescription is transmitted digitally to one of our partner pharmacies. Delivery is then made directly to the front door within 48 hours.

Stephan Czaja: We’ll see. The demand for medicinal cannabis is also high elsewhere, but the legal framework is complex. We want to ensure that we can also offer the quality and efficiency that sets us apart outside Germany.

Organic dry food for puppies

First of all, I wanted to treat my dog to a new dry food, this one is with organic chicken, MSC fish and peas. In my order I opted for a 2 kilogram pack. The packaging feels very high quality, not just cheap plastic but lightly coated for a soft touch.

There are also a lot of differences in dry food, e.g. the consistency, as well as the ingredients. The dry food contains grain-free dry food and as described organic chicken, MSC fish, peas and algae. Especially for small dogs. But, pictures say more than a thousand words!

Now it comes to the little treats and highlights for in between! In my order I have chosen the organic chew sticks.

The rolls are a small, but still relatively productive snack for in between. Accordingly, you should not give a small dog, like my Pomeranian, too many large snacks. After all, he or she is still supposed to take care of the main meals. For a small, big snack, for example after a long walk, excellent to get power again.

The mini snacks are for in between and really small, maybe half a centimeter in size. Perfect as a reward when your dog has done a good sit. The bag is relatively full! I think that’s good, because unlike snack number 1, you have little packaging here in relation to the content!
