October Trend Tips

It’It’s finally autumn and apart from the rain and the many clouds, this season really has something to offer. The trees shine in bright colors, the cuddly sweaters can be taken out again and who doesn’t love to snuggle up in bed with a warm tea or a hot chocolate? Of course, a new season always means new trends. What will probably never go out of style in the fall are big knit sweaters or scarves, but what I especially like is that this year they are shining in the trendy color red. I also had to surrender to this trend and now show you here my outfit on the topic of trend color red.

Fall trend color : Red, Red, Red

Since I would not survive the fall and winter without my sweaters, I decided to create me a red sweater. Normally I do not wear such bright colors, however, I must say that this sweater has simply convinced me. It is not only super fluffy and very cozy but also has big ‘puffy sleeves’ which makes it something really special.

I wear it with a pair of dark blue jeans with a red velvet detail on the side, which picks up the color of the sweater again and literally leads like a red thread through my outfit.

I round off my outfit with cozy black boot heels with block heel. Such cozy shoes with heel are for me an absolute must-have basic that everyone should have in his wardrobe, because they just always fit!

Cover + exclusive columns of a young blogger

The cover of this month’s issue graces the model Joyce Benne, who is under contract with CM Models. This picture was taken by the star photographer Oliver Rudolph, from whom you can also find the corresponding track in the magazine. A special highlight in this issue are the columns of the blogger ivaxbrd. The young blogger reports on topics in the field of fashion, beauty and lifestyle and is represented in this issue with the latest fashion trends and great travel tips for the Canary Island of Tenerife. Of course, you can find her weekly column here in our online magazine. Without a big team the second published print edition would not have been possible of course. That’s why we want to thank everyone who helped us with the magazine and, of course, thanks to all interview partners and photographers. Blue leather skirt as an eye-catcher – combine summer outfit

My blue leather skirt is from Zara. I bought it last year, but at first I thought it was a bad buy. This year, I have rediscovered him for me and wear him now very much. In the first look I combined it with a white t-shirt with patches, a Louis Vuitton clutch and a Kapten & Son watch. The look is more casual, but still looks mega nice and is perfect for mild summer evenings.

The second look with the leather skirt I wore on a trip to Luxenburg. On that day it was very windy and therefore a bit cooler, which is why I combined the skirt with a long-sleeved top. Additionally I had my Fashion Drug bag with me and sandals. The look is very simple, but I still like it very much, because it was perfect for a cozy day in the city.

Leather skirt – rocking and elegant

I had already mentioned this piece of jewelry from NA-KD in my last column. Despite all that it fits so well to the theme that I would like to show it here again. He is in itself very rocky by the two belts. Nevertheless, you can combine it very elegantly, for example with a blouse, elegant pumps or a clutch. On the other hand, it makes itself but of course also super as an it-piece in an outfit combined with basics. The best thing about it is that even though it’s tight and really doesn’t look comfortable, it’s super comfy and not too warm to wear outside in the summer.

Since the weather turns more and more to the good and the temperatures are slowly but surely rising, I thought it’s time for a little summer outfit special. I have chosen as a trend look the fabric denim and looked for you, how you can combine this best. Denim is available in almost every cut. Pants – of course – , denim jackets, denim skirts, dresses, t-shirts, shoes, bags and much more. I have picked out my favorite denim pieces from my closet and put together outfits for you that not only look super nice but are also great for the upcoming warm temperatures.

Denim, Denim, Denim

The fabric that simply always goes, because it is super practical, versatile and simply looks good. It comes in all colors, all cuts and in a thousand different designs. Whether with cracks, color blobs or printed with patches. Jeans has always been a must-have in every wardrobe and is always reinventing itself. What you can combine everything with the fabric, I show you now.

Denim jackets – Oversized look from Zara

This denim jacket from Zara is kept simple, but still a real eye-catcher. It is cut oversized and gives the outfit thus something very casual and comfortable. A super casual outfit for everyday life. I have combined to the denim jacket a torn T-shirt ( Bershka ) , a black jeans ( Reserved ) and a small pink bag ( Gioia ), which upgrades the loose outfit a little by elegance. The look is perfect for the transitional season and for the warmer temperatures, just replace the black jeans with a pair of shorts.

Combine denim skirt – belt and clutch

This denim skirt from Asos is a real denim special. It has super nice details on the pockets and waistband. Actually, I’m not a big fan of mini skirts, but I must say this is not too long and not too short. It fits great and is easy to combine. I have chosen a slightly chicer version, with a black off-shoulder sweater ( Zara ), a black belt ( Reserved ) and a small bag ( Vintage ).

But denim skirts can be super easy to combine very casually. A white T-shirt and sneakers, with a casual crop hoodie or with a body the denim skirt looks much cooler. In addition, it is still super comfortable and uncomplicated. Especially perfect for the summer! Here I have another small combination option for you.

Jeans – Distresed x Used

That it is now a trend to wear ripped pants is nothing new, but it is just more and more fashionable to wear jeans with special washes. I have picked out a pair of jeans that combines both. The nice thing about it, the holes are not so huge but discreetly distributed, which in combination with the wash gives a super cool effect. Also here there are many possibilities to combine such a special jeans and also here I have 2 alternatives for you. On the one hand very simple with a black t-shirt, a black leather jacket and black Stifeletten (both Reserved), whereby the attention is fully drawn to the pants.

On the other hand, combined with subtle colors, such as a white leather jacket and a bright basic top, whereby the pants are more integrated into the outfit and do not stand out so much as an it-piece.

I hope I could inspire you a bit with my ideas and show you one or the other side of the eternal trend fabric. The trend this summer goes in any case in the direction of denim skirts and denim jackets, which you can also combine super together! Our trip started on Friday morning, when my step brothers collected me here in Cologne and we drove on towards Zandvoort. Once there, the whole patchwork family was waiting for us. Of course, then first a beach walk in icy temperatures was announced. Not necessarily my highlight of the trip, but apart from the temperature and the wind very nice. Saturday we spent our day in Amsterdam. The city is really beautiful and I have a little bit in love with the old houses with huge windows, but also here it was very cold and how could it be otherwise, windy. What I have to let the Dutch, but nowhere else does the pancake taste as good as there. Of course, we also enjoyed it directly in a ‘Pannkokenhus’. I do not know what the Dutch do differently, but somehow they manage to make the pancakes delicious and yet very different. Of course I could not take a little shopping. For such a day full of shopping, sightseeing and running around, the right outfit has to be found. I have put together one or two outfit alternatives for you.

Black and White – Chic but still warm!

This outfit looks both chic and elite but is also very practical as it keeps you warm at the same time. The sweater by Zara is super warm and super comfortable. Due to its white color and a zipper on the back, it still looks very stylish. For this I have combined a black basic pants Reserved. Since there is a lot going on during a sightseeing / shopping tour, I exceptionally left the high heels at home and put on my Adidas Superstar glitter. The outfit is completed with my bag by Fashion Drug, which is not too big but still big enough so that I could take everything necessary. If that’s still too cold for you, you can also combine a white leather jacket on the sweater (pic 2).

PINK! The new trend color of spring

This outfit is definitely not suitable for the chilblains among you, but you can combine it so great in the summer. It is especially suitable for city trips, as it does very little with very little. Soberly wired, it’s just a top, a leather jacket and a pair of jeans, but it looks like much more with the use of colors and accessories. Since it is so simple, this outfit is super comfortable and uncomplicated. I fell in love with the color of the top. The Pink is super trendy this summer and fits particularly well with brown hair. If you like the color, you can find more great pieces in this color at Zara. Just like this top. The jacket, which is definitely my favorite part this spring, you can buy at Zara. These pants are again from Reserved and the bag from Fashion Drug.

All Black Everything – Outfit Inspiration

As you have noticed by now, this bag is my absolute favorite. It simply has the perfect shape and size to take with you every day. Even with this outfit she manages to upgrade the whole look. The t-shirt is also one of my new achievements from my favorite new online store, Fashion Drug, which is also the bag. It is super comfortable and looks great by the cut and the print just by itself. In addition a black pants with cracks by Zara and your outfit is perfect. Since the temperatures are just a little too fresh for such an outfit, I recommend you to the Edgy look a leather jacket or a cool torn denim jacket. So you complete this look perfectly and have simply created a cool outfit.

Perfect waves for a perfect outfit

As a last tip, I’ll show you something from the field of beauty, with which you can easily spice up your look. The Perfect Beachwaves, as seen from the Victoria’s Secret catwalks. Who does not dream of it? It is so easy to get the perfect waves. The nuts and bolts here are the curling iron. it shouldnt be too thin or too thick and should already meet a certain quality. It is also important that you will not get the perfect beachwaves with a flat iron, a curling iron is definitely necessary.

When you have found your perfect curling iron, there is not much left. Just divide your hair into two parts (I always divide them from one ear to the other) and put the top half away. Then you spray your hair with heat protection spray. I use guardian angels from Schwarzkopf got2b. If your curling iron is preheated (in my hair 180 degrees) you take a ca 5cm thick strand and wrap it around your curling iron. After about 20-30 seconds you can let go and continue with the next one. You do all this with all your hair and make sure you all turn in the same direction. When you’re done, just spray your hair over the top with hairspray (extra volume) and set it up. If you want, you can also use a comb to go through your hair again. Your beachwaves are done. The whole thing looks like my own.

Such a hairstyle enhances your outfit enormously and makes you look super elegant.
Sunday it was already back home and I was able to rest a little and relax the rest of Easter.
