How was it? All about Casual Street Wear

The first fashion show and then directly Milan. You could see the joy in designer Achraf Ait Bouzalim’s face when he jumped through the front row with high fives shortly after the show. 6PM comes from the Frankfurt district and produces urban fashion for everyday life.

Celebrities like Nils Kuesel, Nic Kaufmann, Jacob Rott and Toni Dreher sat in the front row.

6PM: An emerging brand

6PM is an up-and-coming young brand from Frankfurt from the rap and fashion scene. Impressing it does besides very good, ordinary cuts with high quality, which are usually characteristics of designer brands. With the community that founder Achraf Ait Bouzalim has built up on Instagram and supported by rappers, such as Bausa, who can be seen in the stuff, the collections sell in minutes without even having to do much marketing. In a short time, Achraf achieved great success with 6PM and has already been awarded the About You Award in the Business category. Now the vision is to become a global brand.

Extremely celebrated – women in the rap scene

SXTN – a German hip hop duo from Berlin, two rappers Juju and Nura. In 2015, the girls achieve a breakthrough. Sold out tour tickets and on the lists of the top 20 charts take the two to the top. Their announcements are unmistakable: SXTN demonstrate self-confidence and cannot be talked into. The trapbeats come hard and demanding, the lyrics are vulgar and coarse. The provocation is undoubtedly successful.

Eunique – known as the Hustler. She simply raps down the themes of social injustice, sexism and racism. The Hamburg girl put in her freestyle rap video at that time and thus began her career as a rapper – who dares. Eunique also known as Kobra, founds a fan club Kobra Military – to expand their community.

Rap Genius – Which man can keep up?

Besides long-term musicians, more and more newcomers are making a quick start into the rapper charts.  More and more male musicians rap about topics like drugs, sex, violence, love, music, friends or other soft areas.

With Sido, Miss Platum and RAF Camora & Bonez MC Bausa can be heard since a long time. His music is played up and down on the radio and with a few titles he is in the top three of the charts.

Ronny Trettmann , a reggae and dancehall artist, conquers the country’s single charts for four weeks. With his Saxon dialect and a sexy autotune voice, he arouses attention. Besides big appearances at different festivals, he records songs with other German rappers like Gringo, GZUZ, Materia and Megaloh, which everybody should know by now.

Gross lyrics, big feelings and questionable poses – his songs have been at the top of the trend charts at Spotify and Apple Music for weeks now. His tour in all cities almost sold out. In 2017 he won the award for Best Newcomer National at the Hip Hop.de Awards.

Contra K – with his tattoos, he stands out

Kontra K is one of the most successful rappers in Germany. His real name is Maximilian Diehn and he is 31 years young. Kontra K comes from Berlin and started rapping when he was just 16 years old. He raps about his own experiences in his songs, because he didn’t have it easy in his youth. He markets himself as the boy off the street. With his many tattoos he is especially striking and looks good too. He has become a good young man and can be proud of his success. His most popular song at the moment is Kampfgeist 4, but Wölfe and Fame are also two songs you should definitely listen to.

Trettmann – Without kitsch war nothing works

Trettmann or Stefan Richter is with his 45 years an old hand in the music business. He has made a lot of music before, but since 2016 he has only performed as a pedal man. He works together with the producer team Kitschkrieg, who got their breakthrough with the song Knöcheltief. Kitschkrieg also maintains his own label, which Trettmann actively supports. As far as fashion is concerned, you can definitely learn a lot from Trettmann. His most famous song is Standard. But also ankle deep and grey concrete are old classics and really cool songs.

BAUSA – you have to know the man

“Oh baby, give me more of what you call love.” He who does not know Bausa is not of this earth. His song “Was du Liebe nennst” was released on September 29, 2017 and stayed at number 1 of the German charts for nine weeks. So this is the first hip-hop song ever to be placed at the top so often in a row. Bausa (Julian Otto) appeared for the first time in 2014 and is since then indispensable in the German hip-hop industry. At the age of 30, he is definitely a great success and brings out one catchy tune after the other.
